I've noticed most of your sustain comes from your clones being alive and most the time you die as shinobi is when your clones are dead. When there is a lot of mobs on screen there is no way to tell if your clones are alive other than staring at your MP bar so having clones as a buff rather than them having hp and making skill lvl increase buff duration would make it a lot easier to monitor and feel much nicer to play and having you focus on the game more rather then staring at your MP bar all day.

U mean clones based on duration instead of hp?
Yeah it would be better as a buff with duration rather than having 1hp, if not at least a buff counter but I think having no HP would make the class feel/play better.
Hmm I dunno..the clones act as decoy as well if they don't die... It might make shinobi too strong.. Like it has 1 in clones chances to keep surviving and u still have Dodge feint cloak in between
Try this instead.. Put ur shadow seal on mouse right click... I have it there so whenever I turn the screen I have clones summoned

I dont think something with 1hp is really a good decoy and I dont think thats how they are intended, even if the numbers needed to be tuned down I think it would just feel much nicer as a buff
could change the feint to spawn a "decoy", I think that would give the skill more use/utility to the skill
It does though when u use feint it summons a clone that takes the agro

Like its a rogue not a summoner class, shouldn't be focused on summoning every 2 seconds
I think a nice middle ground of the 2 would be they functionally stay the same, but you just have a buff icon with a number to show how many are still alive
a shinobi regularly spamming clones as a diversion tactic is pretty on brand though.
definitely agree there should be a ui element to help tell you whether your clones are up or not
I don't think the clones act as or are meant to be a diversion tactic tho, they are just increased DPS/sustain. It's not like they aggro mobs for you or provide you with some sort of defensive utility. They just have 1hp get hit when you do, they don't taunt or block any damage for the player, if that was the case I'd have a different opinion but I think them being a buff would feel way better, just like how it is in Ragnarok online or MapleStory with assassin shadow partner.

You have no control over them tho, it's completely rng and most the time your clones are hit is when you are also hit. It just doesn't feel good but it you think having a summon you need to spam every 2 seconds that you have no control over that you also can't reliably track is good game design for a rogue class then idk what to say. I think it would feel much better if they were a buff/non targetable and if decoys/taunts were a seperate thing if that type of utility was to be added to rogue at all it should be done properly.
Like changing the vault to leave a decoy behind for a few seconds that taunts enemies/takes agro would be my suggestion for something like that
