#Inventory weight should be based on level instead of STR

YES PLEASE
give me
But where are mages going to put spare attributes? 😛
Yes its so unfair for INT classes to be overweight every 3min while knights loot everything hahaha
They're going to put it on AGI to swing their wand faster, like a true Jedi
I did this for a side ro server i was working on, its really nice
What a good weight at max lv, you guys reckon?
at least 4-5k like STR builds have
and maybe increase storage capacity too if possible, it gets full too easily
At lvl 1, make the default weight capacity at 3000.
Then every level, we gain +15 weight capacity.
At max level (150) this would be 5235
Or if that is too much, make it +10 per level so at max level (150), we will get 4490 total max weight capacity
+1 to this. May be make the current 10,000 capacity double or triple
I leveled up 2 warriors to use as storage mules haha
Okay, make that 50,000 storage weight capacity. LOL
i'll be cooked when the weight capacity comes to storage
Pretty sure some ppl have 20x that
Oughtta get rid of weight limit in the bank. Makes no sense to have (unless you make it a cash shop item to buy perma unlimited storage). Then allow storage to be increased by level.
Str oughtta still increase it by more lol. Str pack mules lol
Makes no sense to have a limit?
yes because then We'll just use a mules
get one poor mage and put 999999 weight into him and make him a blackhole
you can add a check for weight when withdrawing, that just makes people create warriors mules with weaver pants and weight cards. Mules with extra effort.
What about get rid of storage weight, make it limited to a number of items per stash, and charge us gold for each new stash.
Then you add filters as buttons (weapons, cards, equipment, artifacts) so we can manage and navigate easier.
On Albion you can buy new Tabs of storage with gold when the standard one gets full. The limit is by number of items/slots. Weight only applies to the character's inventory.
I agree, the only upside would be the gold burn
The downside of alts.
That said, if there was a max character count of 3 (which could be extended through purchases) and a limit in the stash as well of 20,000 (which could be extended with purchases), then we have achieved monetization.
weight as the limit in storage doesn't make since no, number of item types does (don't count each Potato), Is fine for players themselves to have weight though as it makes players return to town and slows the loop.
I think makes sense based on STR, for me no need to change this
I assume you dont mind because you play STR build? Hahahah. Ragnarok is STR-based but it takes much longer to get overweight or with storage full.
no, i play as acolyte hahaha
but is fair enough, since tibia 20 years ago mages have low weight capacity than EK and RP hahaha
Sure, my points is that even in Tibia or RO, the overweight is not as bad as it is here.
You can still farm as a mage on RO without STR
Here is like, going to town every 5-10min
yeah, waypoints in every map, is easy to play
let me revive this thread abit.
Right now we level to gain weight. Which is a good feature, since we really get overweight very easily except NG due to no equipment drop.
I do acctually recommend more use for Str, like adding 5 weight or even 10 weight per str value while maintaining the current level up for weight system. This would give Str some values. Alot of stuffs gives all Stat from 1-10 , cards, refines on equip etc and Str has 0 value totally except for melee atk users.
Most of the class that doesn't use STR attribute and has STR from equips probably has nowhere more than 30 str? It wouldnt hurt adding 5 or 10 weight per STR value to this.
While STR attribute classes should have an advantage of carrying slightly more than the rest. They're strong, no?
Your thoughts Phil? I've turned off the ping
What about if player buys monthly pass he/she can get unlimited storage&weight 💵💵💵😌
Its too good to just give unlimited storage for all
Its good paid QoL
Pretty good idea, I might do a poll
I like it, but the database might explode if I do that
