to be fair Discord makes sure it's as inaccessible as possible
I haven't worked on it for a few weeks still, work has been crazy.

I did start working on the stale queue management system. It'll be ready before season reset.
-
I haven't seen any reports of that happening yet but it would be tricky to prevent without requiring everyone to sync their fellowbis and discord account

Those recommendations are outdated. They were based on common patterns of the top 30% of each class's top rated players on fellowshiplogs.com, but metas shift and patches happen, so many of those are probably wrong. That button will be going away for the start of the season since we won't have recent data anymore. Ideally this would be generated by sims instead once we have good sims
On #2 what I could do is create a way for folks to block their code from being used if they want to, if someone is harassing them that way. And also prevent the same code from being used if someone else is already active in the "queue" with it
For number 2 its mostly to combat trolls (myself included)
Nothing stops me, from making small script, and just overpopulate that page with entries
Which i aint gonna do, but that COULD happen, if someone is feeling that way.
As for number 3 , ye logs gotta be checked way more often. Build for Rime, is 2 months old, that couple of top end players tested for a bit, and went out of it super fast
Yeah I'm not super happy with that feature even when the data is recent tbh
I'm planning another version where it records what other people using the site are doing (stat selection and gems) and make it possible to surface the averages per hero once a minimum number of entries exists, so someone who is brand new can see how the community uses the tool
Why not Archon style for most "popular" for each slot? (If no sims available)
Also the fellowshiplogs API is working again. While they don't have broad data endpoints, or at least didn't when I looked, I might be able to ask them to expose that data
Archon = fellowshiplogs. They currently don't expose that data the last time I looked. They might be protecting it to keep Archon special
I'd rather not scrape but if they make it available via API I'd use it
you can still scrape it though, no? ;D
nevermind, you just answered
Then, time to build SIM's or reach out to couple peeps who have private ones
Ethics aside, scraping is too finnicky. I don't want to have to fix it whenever they change a class on a span or do a small redesign
People are working on sims already
I am happy keeping fellowbis fairly niche, unless I win the lottery I don't really have time to maintain too much more than it already does
Much to maintain ?
I mean I'll keep improving the existing features but adding sims on top of that would be a massive undertaking
I had planned to build a gem builder/calculator but the existing tools for that are already as good as what I would've built
Unfortunately my day job is very demanding most of the time so I think I'm better off just sticking to the gear optimizer and LFGroupmates tool and just keep making those better
