From Australia, I have 240 ping to Asia, 320 to America, and... well you get the picture. I spent 12 mins matchmaking before giving up in USA and couldn't even connect to Asia. I hope the situation improves, though I know its Early Access.:arexShrug:

Hmm - I've given it a few hours and retried, but I really can't actually connect to Asia even though the latency would be better. Granted there wouldn't be as many English speaking people. A pity there's no option under 200 ping.

it's unfortunate, but they need more players to justify more local servers
this has been brought up before for Australia, South America, Africa, etc.
Hopefully the game grows to the point of creating a bunch of extra servers, but it's not quite there yet
as for matchmaking times, it's a seasonal game and we're pretty far in, so the population has dropped significantly, as it does in all games with this structure
queue times should be better after the next reset expected in February
in the meantime, the best option is to find something to kill the time while sitting in queue

If I was from au and I have heard that 200 ping+ is a standard i would never buy the game or i would refund it asap

so what if they make servers and those people never get matched with anyone because there aren't enough players? that's just wasted money then
it's already a niche enough game in much more populated regions like Europe and NA
