Legendary items should be able to be rerolled, for example with a legendary ingot that can be purchased for 30 Fellowship Tokens. The random drops are really annoying right now... I unfortunately got the necklace on Elarion, by far the worst item, and I haven't found any legendarys in weeks... So i´m simply stuck with a useless legendary that i dont want to play...

for what it's worth, I've been getting legendaries every 4-5 purple rerolls, those would only be ilvl 270 though
but at least you'd get the unique effect, even if you lose 60 ilvls until you get a proper drop

since I have several copies of the legendaries and I'm looking for essence bonus items that I haven't gotten from purple rerolls even once in around 30 attempts, I don't consider myself lucky

you dont get the point ... to much luck based stuff is bad ... you can get your stuff in 10 runs oder maybe 100 or maybe 100000 runs you never know

No, in fact I think your suggestion to "reroll" still involves too much luck. Legendaries are build defining and can simply be strictly better than another based on the current balance. They should be obtainable deterministically.
I just wanted to provide a tip for the meantime until this very needed change is implemented.
