#Malevolent shade is still a dead affix

Would love to see us gain the effect the malevolent shade gives, or even immunity for a short period of time when killing it. HP/Mana is honestly such a dead benefit that only helps healers, and only if they were struggling with mana in the specific pull the shade shows up in.
I'd also love the shade to be taller so its more easily distinguishable from the rest of the crowd, or even have a special nameplate colour. Gets hard targeting it in the middle of a massive pack which just exacerbates how annoying it is.
And that targetting issue only compounds with the size of the pull because the shade buffing a giant pack is way more punishing on the tank
Thats because getting back hp and mana doesn't really matter for how annoying it can be. It should add time to dungeon when killed, or add a debuff to boss that stacks each time it is killed. Something that benefits the run that isn't a buff to player.
honestly wouldn't mind if they reworked it so it was present at the start like an additional mob in the pack for certain packs (like how they seed empowered minioms) and they buffed the pack with an aura or something, and then killing the shade gets rid of the aura and debuffs the pack instead, i feel like that'd be more engaging.
currently it's just a pain to target swap to with a mostly irrelevant boon, especially when it comes in at the end of the pull
