#No longer able to stream from Jellyfin after updating

I updated Tunarr and Jellyfin docker containers after having last updated them in August or earlier.
Since then, streaming now fails due to what appears to be an authentication issue with Jellyfin.

I am on Tunarr 0.20.6 and Jellyfin 10.11.5. Configured to connect via Jellyfin API key. Tunarr shows connection to Jellyfin is healthy. I tried creating and using a second Jellyfin api key but it didn't help.

Relevant-ish looking Jellyfin logs:

dope thx

#

updating tunarr to latest tag fixed it 👌

#

unrelated to the original issue, but after updating, it's having trouble finding my jellyfin libraries. few of my channels are still working fine, but few others have changed to have no programming

there are substantial changes btwn the version you were on and latest

#

if you were truly experiencing an auth issue, you may have to fix that first

#

there were many issues brought with JF 10.11, especially around API tokens

#

unsure if they fixed things but i think you will need to use username/pw auth and not the API tokens

gotcha i'll dig through logs more. have you seen any benefit of plex over jellyfin or vice versa? i have my library in both

both have pros and cons - i recommend ensuring youre streaming from disk from using either
