Hey there just wanting some advice on how to get out of Gold I, currently I've been stuck in this elo for about 4 months and have made little to no progress. If you are at least diamond, and main top lane I'd love to hear your input. Otherwise, and I say this in the nicest way possible, I don't care to read it if your the same rank as I am. Thanks! Heres my op.gg and a vod of one of my games.

#Help, Im a Hardstuck Gold I Player

"hardstuck" 57% wr overall and 61% wr with renekton with 3 kda and only 4 death average, how are u hardstuck ?
ull get plat in no time if u keep the same mindset
peaked D3 mid not that it matters , i dont think u are hardstuck
you are not hardstuck, just keep playing what you're good at and stop playing warwick. you have 50% wr on 100+ games which won't bring you any further (i suppose you are in a +16 -14 situation lp wise)
just spam renek and otp yourself out of gold, that is the easiest way i guess
This guy is hardstuck tho?
If you check lp history
You can tell that this guy is a g1/g2 hardstuck
Most of those wins come from their climb from silver to g2
9:20 pay more attention to wards, lucky to win that 1v2
12:19 Get tower, then wave
12:29 Overextension without knowing jgl position
12:36 Strange pathing
13:08 Is that a normal boots buy for Renek?
14:44 If you are going to commit to coinflip roam, might as well secure the teamfight instead of leaving mid teamfight
15:35 Going 1 for 1, with such a yolo roam and bad wave position? Not worth. Roam also not worth imo.
17:13 Is that even a kill window? You know enemy jungle is top side.
17:17 Your jgl going to int, ping them off.
17:25 Bad decision. Be aware of teammate and enemy positions. You also have no ult.
18:34 Small things add up, watch your map and your team's position.
19:40 I like idea of killing to have number advantage for drag. But dying here cost you a teamfight and drag.
21:00 This Gragas has been wasting your time all game long. Yet you still think you can solo kill every single time.
21:01-24:38 You waste your time running everywhere on the map, desperate for kills, while your relevancy in the game is expiring.
24:55 As the strongest member on your team, you dying before drag spawn is costing you necessary leads to end the game. Ping objectives, and force your team to help you instead of doing nothing and dying.
All game long, you hardly pushed your small leads you accrued from the two kills. You never get any meaningful vision (to track jgl and possible kill) and the one time you did, you didn't even watch your map. You ignore every objective in the game and let the enemy team outscale you. All you ccare about is solo kills. You constantly go for these low rewarding kills and giving pointless deaths that ultimately wasted away the strongest point of your champ.
i need to start this by saying i dont play top or renekton, but in lane at 4:00 and 5:40 i feel like you could be more careful about hitting the wave while trading so you can freeze
at 8:00 you spend too much time in the jungle and let gragas crash a wave for free!
It seems like a user has already given a lot of insight in your video. The thing is, that one particular match will never occur exactly the same again.
Sure, the tips will help when used properly, but I believe you just need to play more games in order to truly understand and master your champion/role. You have around 500ish games with two seasons and you're gold 1. That's pretty good. The thing is, people around this level become ''conscious'' and start to know what they're doing. Obviously, a lot of mistakes will still be made, but far less than in silver for example. Play more, get to know the ins and outs of your champion against almost every match up and do so by trial and error. You'll lose a lot of games, but eventually you'll start to see insane progression.
Blindly spamming games won't help
playing more games ≠ going blindly in every game
Reason why I vod review is to give an idea
he shouldn’t auto pilot
Of things you can work on
but he should play more games as he’s relatively new to the game
Because most of your bad habits comes from blindly spamming games
gotcha thanks so much for the advice! i just felt that if my mechanics were better i could have killed gragas much more times
also to answer your question i knew kha zix was coming but i just knew i could win 1v2 so i went for it
although i have no idea why i wasted my fury and used my dash right before he came, without soraka R that'd be 1 for 1 there
the 9:30 fight was fine
you knew he was there and he would probably come and you sold the gank
maybe igniting gragas earlier and saving your e before the fight began and not using it on the wave would be better but i don't know too much indepth on renekton so go with what you feel is better
also it's better if you send a video of where you lose lane or have an even lane rather than a hard stomp of a lane as you'll learn more
spamming games when you're new is the best way to improve there's no reason to get coaching until after your first year or after you hit gold
the player isn't that bad he has some advanced mechanics he just plays a little too passively on a champ where he has to be aggressive and it's more of a champion issue where he probably doesn't know enough of the champ or a general issue where he's a passive player
and he is still climbing 9-6 in the last 7 days 13-7 last 20 games
there also wasn't all too much he could do after laning phase to carry the game as he gets outscaled by twitch and viktor and his team did very poor non of them had over 5cs/min
That's good then, I would have called jungle over or pinged the enemy jgler
So that your team would know kha's position
and calling jungle over would have been extra security
But that's good that you knew
imo, this is fine
This vod showcases his weakpoints of understanding how to transition leads
Different vods will help you learn different things
If this game was a hard stomp/carry game
No if you take a look at their last 150 games
OP is p stuck rn
Agree on this
I don't think coaching is the best idea for new players
and that spamming games is worth either
But I think it's important to have some kind of intention and thought into every game
through goal oriented games and vod reviews
goal oriented games = working on specific skillsets such as vision, trading, etc
I don't care to read it if your the same rank as I am
so you don't care about the experience from people who climbed through your elo?
what kind of logic is that?
you'd get more value from a player that recently climbed from g2/g1 to p2/p1 than a long term dia+ top laner
and also you will climb faster if you focus on your mental, you are good untill plat1 just by working on consistency and not tilting, with a basic understanding of the fundamentals and the champ you are piloting ofc but thats obvious. Mental hard carries you through games you would otherwise lose so its best to get that down before focusing on anything else
ok i watched your video and here are my thoughts
your laning generally sucks, your awareness could be better, and you chase way too often
I didnt like how you handled your wave in the majority of lane phase. you auto mindlessly and its annoying. for example the second wave at the beginning of the game u just start mindlessly right clicking and hitting buttons because the gragas stopped contesting wave
you are incredibly greedy for kills and it gets you killed over and over. Instead of getting resources you chase and often die because you are overextended, not paying attention, or just plain being overaggressive
you should have been tracking enemy kha better, you put yourself in very scary positions multiple times bcuz u werent paying attention to where he was on the map. You're lucky it didnt go horribly wrong but if you were ganked more often and if their kha wasnt a braindead ape you would have been farmed.
Your decision making is slow and it impacts your performance. whatever you decide to do, the decision needs to be made NOW. i painstakingly watched u pace around mid lane deciding whether to rotate top for gragas or go to drake and that level of indecisiveness loses games
u greeded for kills and got fed (lucky roll of the dice ig) but then immediately inted your lead because of your greed. i watched u run underneath enemy tower to fight Gragas at like fucking 0 hp and you obviously die, and in my head im just thinking "why are you forcing useless disadvantaged fights"
There are a few things to take away from the game you linked me, one point is that you dont need to be where your team is 24/7 (people do that and then they just wind up ARAMing the game). Let your team be mid while no objectives are up so meanwhile you can do real work by clearing waves and camps in bot lane. Its OK to farm; low elo doesnt farm enough and they prefer constantly fighting instead. Secondly you need to improve your lane discipline and stop playing the game aimlessly, and keep a closer eye on where everybody else is on the map. Lastly, your focus needs to be on objectives after lane so stop running around the entire map looking for kills and start setting yourself up to win objectives. Plan your pathing in advance.
less of a mechanics thing more of a patience thing imo
