just ban him in low elo if you're jg your team will mostly not be able to deal with him

if you're unable to do that just play around cc on him and don't try to have poor fights near him

if you get ahead of yi enough you easily beat him in later stages of the game. just don't run away when you 1v1 him and spam q and press e. Let your e fully charge and activate on it's own. one of two things will happen. He'll q dodge the fear or get feared. If he q dodges the fear he cannot dodge again so you instantly use ulti after his Q ends. If he gets feared, he can't use q so you ulti. If he instantly wastes q tho don't use ulti until you need to heal
(also don't assume that master yi might get a q reset just from autos. his Q CD and ability to reset got giga nerfed so hard over the years he can really only get resets from takedowns)

the most a yi can do to out play that is run away during the e charge up and use his highlander speed to dodge your ulti

a lot of bad yi players don't know how to right click away and only know how to right click at you

If master Yi gets three items he can 1v1 anyone in the game, you need to stop thinking about killing master yi and think objectively how you can win games. your mindset is wrong you need to be getting your farm, pressuring lanes, contesting objectives and getting a large lead in terms of gold and exp, if you do all this he wont be a problem. yi will always win against noobs who dont look at map or dont ward, if he cant get any ganks off and is forced to farm, and you have been farming all his camps every time you see him on map he cant do anything

So im around bronze rank and i main jg and it has come to a point that every single game I ban master yi cuz me and my team cant defeat him. And the last game where i forgot to ban yi I took khazix to counter but then he just ran around with a yuumi on him the whole game so how do i counter him

Pick anything with a hard cc and save it for him

There's a few ways. either above hard cc yourself. or you can pick khazix evolve r and he cant touch u while u burst him. but realistically mid game u just become a bait for him to try and kill u cuz u r 3 times. snowball early lanes and get your team to group. nothing a yi can do if your team just focuses him after his alpha. champ is immobile.
