+11LP -19LP 57% winrate on 40 latest games, is this normal?

these 40 games i've had a 57% winrate and that leaves me at -70 LP

#

if i wasnt plat 4 i would actually derank with a 57% winrate across 40 games, is that normal in plat? not sure how much LP gain / loss is considered average

its normal if you have like 400+ games played for the season and if you are on an old account

for some reason the higher winrate i got like past 20 games the more LP i lose

and every games i've played this season has been with a duo that has HIGHER mmr than me

My guess on what is going on

#

is that you keep losing and demoting to 0 lp plat 4

#

You struggle to make it above 50 lp

#

and keep demoting back down to 0 lp or gold 1

#

so the system is trying to force you back down to gold, because it can tell that you are struggling in plat 4

#

After your short winstreak after reaching plat 4 (about 17 days ago)

You had a terrible winrate prob around a 40% winrate (the 13 loss streak doesn't help at all)

From there on your mmr and subsequently your lp gains became shit

And from there on you had a solid 50% wr for 80 games straight

so unless you somehow start to win above 50%

your mmr gains will only slowly rise

because the system can tell that you are struggling

also duoQ fucks up your mmr a lot as i said before
