So I’ve noticed a lot of players like to afk under turret waiting for farm or whatever. I do not know how to deal with this playstyle because it is extremely boring. Some champions sit under turret for their lvl 6/item power spike and some are just insecure pricks who are waiting for the jungler to 2v1 and then afk under turret when you have respawned. How do I deal with these type of players

In a recent match I was against Yasuo top who sat under tower
Waiting for a gank
If I tried to freeze he would come out and 2v1 or if he failed go back under turret
I could ward to get out in time but the match was extremely slow like that so I gave it up

shove vawe and go take jungle, if you dont meet the jungle then take camps, if you do meet the jungle u can fight him and mabe even kill him, and the toplaner cant rotate cuz then he will miss a big wave to tower

You can freeze / perma push and take jgl camp if you know that you won against ennemy jgl / wait your jgl for dive / roam if you can with your champion
or you can solo dive if you can

idk your elo but yesterday I was playing top in silver elo. I have freeze for 10 straight minutes where the enemy can't even get xp and resulted at a moment where he was lvl 4 when I lvl 10
it worked that good because it was low elo but it's a good example for how to get advantage

you could just learn wave management and abuse every time you get 3 waves crashed to get an item advantage turn their slow push into a freeze and get them stuck in lane with risk of getting killed everytime they greed for a minion

To come back to this thread I’ve used these tips and I now was able to have the enemy get no farm while they waited under tower. Ended up with 8cs/min which is a lot for me and they had not even half.

You can literally
stack a big wave, slowpush and crash the whole wave
recall, then when you come back the wave pushes towards you, you can thin the wave and set up a freeze
that way they miss farm and even XP if they stay under tower
But you can roam/invade/help with drake/play around your jungler/take crab etc
while they are under tower too

they're just playing better in the sense of not greeding
you're playing wrong if you're stuck under their turret and ontop of that don't have vision of the jg to escape a gank
but as well as they are also playing wrong in a sense as playing 'passive' is bad in league. There is no 'passive' theres only right and wrong plays and players go to that plkaystyle when they don't know their champ or the matchup etc
