I know that I get matched with my skill level when I play but when I don't play with my fiance I get really 'bad' players where its like top is 1/3 mid 0/6 jg doing semi their job and bot 1/1 and I have like 0/0/1 right? I'm not a super bad player at all I know how to play the roles and I play smart. So why do I get a full team of people that almost seems like they have never played a game in their life? Is it actually me and I just need to play better? some games I go 3/4/26 with my fiancé ( he doesn't play as bottom he plays mid, top, jg mainly mid)

I can think of two things
The game tries to find fitting comps, so if youre a team of 5 you go against a team of 5, 3 against 3 etc. Solo queueing might mean everyone is, and for duo queueing it could mean there are more duos involved
One duo doesn’t result in another duo queue in your team but the chances of going against a group of 4/5 could mean you are a group of 2 with a group of 2/3 to “make up” for the team players
Other thing is your mmr together is different. I also have slightly less skilled teammates and opponents when playing alone than with my bro. I’d say we’re close to the same skill level
Could just mean everyone is solo queueing like you so it’s uncoordinated
you got unlucky
focus on the games that felt more even
and how you could improve your influence on those
That also
The curse of having bad matches when playing alone
Plus you might auto pilot cause you’re not taking to someone
Dragging yourself down a bit without realising it
hmm never thought of that lol could be a mixture of everything,, thanks guys
ditto on this, try talking to yourself
can be things like “oh i saw that rengar for the 4th time in toplane, time to go take his bot camps”
your mmr is horrible
