#

the higher level players are mid and jungle by the way

fast ibex
#

what champs do yall play

steel forge
#

mid laners main picks are most carry champs (yone, yas, kat, fizz, akali) and jungler plays almost anything other than lee

#

at the moment were mainly playing funnel comps based on mid

#

jungle plays for macro and top splits for most but uses mainly global champs to get mid picks

#

as for adc hes mainly an ezreal fanboy but weve gotten him to play ashe and varus most of the time recently

#

support doesnt really play anything in particular

@steel forge video I can dm you

frozen badge
#

ryze with team can be good for gank setup

#

galio+panthion for anti assasin

steel forge
#

is there anywhere ryze can go other than mid

frozen badge
steel forge
#

and pantheon is my second highest mastery so i can do that

frozen badge
#

ryze bot isant as good tho

steel forge
#

top is mainly shen funneling mid

frozen badge
#

becasue late 6

frozen badge
steel forge
#

i play mainly jarvan or gwen in jungle depending on circumstance

north light
#

GP is extremely good as a top laner - scaling and global ult is op for bot lane fights especially if ap or something like a graves for scaling top

steel forge
#

our mid plays gp but ive never seen him use it top

#

and i highly doubt our top laner could learn gp in time since hes only like level 50 ish rn

north light
#

whats your top play

steel forge
#

mainly shen at the moment cause i asked him to but he can play morde and sett as other options

north light
#

how much time do you have until the competition?

steel forge
#

we still have a good few months

north light
#

teaching him gp will help a lot

#

shen is also super good

#

ryze

#

graves

steel forge
#

graves is one of our jungle picks as well

north light
#

just look at normal pro play top lane picks

#

he's extremely good top

steel forge
#

ill get our mid gp to work with our top for a bit to see if he could learn it in any capacity

north light
#

he's one of the hardest champs in the game but he's worth if learnt

#

what ranki s the top though

steel forge
#

high silver at best id say

#

he is progressing quite well though

north light
#

gp may not be his champ though

#

then*

steel forge
#

mainly macro wise though he isnt great mechanically

steel forge
#

he does know wave management and map control though because i drilled it into him

north light
#

a lot of gp comes down to macro

#

if he can learn how to barrel he's good

#

just spend a few minutes every day doing barrel combos and phantom barreling and you should be good

#

if he even gets to the point of being able to go ap reliably your bot should never lose

#

gwen was the most picked lcs top laner this year 2nd was gragas then renekton/graves

#

you can also pair him on renekton with an early game jg to get a lead earlier

steel forge
#

ill let him play around with gp for like a month and if it goes bad ill just swap him back to his other global funnel champs

north light
#

for spring split graves has the highest playrate

#

he's a lane bully and has good scaling

#

forgot about ornn

#

i'd also recommend putting your midlaner onto some ap mages

steel forge
#

mid would likely be on kata or akali

#

or yone/yas if we are ap heavy

north light
#

something like an ori or a viktor

#

you'd need a knockup champ on your team to play the yas

#

and the rest need to snowball

#

i am also biased against assassins though so might want more opinions on that

steel forge
north light
#

if you're j4

#

you'd have to have ap top

#

what's your adc play

steel forge
#

varus ashe

north light
#

ight

#

jinx may be a good pick down there if she's not gutted before the tourney

#

but ashe would be super good for a kiting comp

steel forge
#

idk about new swain but our support really liked old swain because he watched me play it before he started

#

Any easy large aoe cc champs for the new players

#

Don't put them on carries

steady fractal
#

TOP (tanks, engage, easy) - Malph, Ornn, Voli
BOT (New players can't carry) - Utility bots like Varus, Ashe, Veigar. Ziggs for (Easy waveclear that doesn't interact with enemy)
SUP (uncomplicated gameplan) - Sona, Lulu, Naut, Leona, Rell, Yuumi, Veigar (Tank)

MID - Yas, Yone, Kat (Would prefer wind brothers much more)
Champs that snowball and doesn't need team to deal dmg to win teamfights.

JGL - Diana, RekSai, Elise, Wukong, Urdyr
Any champs that can spam gank mid and also become the secondary carry.

I think Mundo's a bad champ

#

Rell Sona are fairly simple

#

?

#

rell is just another engage champ

#

but with even larger aoe

#

sona is just stand far back and heal

#

I think that's all engage champs

#

You go in and don't come out

#

tell sona to be in exp range

#

and not to poke

#

If that's too hard

#

Then put sup on tanks

#

and def not yuumi

#

Since yuumi needs to walk up even more than sona

outer quail
#

rell is dog shit

Mundo can get in and out, but the champ is just not very useful in the hands of a new player. Maybe in the hands of a Mundo main will it be different.
Rakan is not simple nor is he forgiving, because of how squishy he is. Most Rakans try to look for flanks to start fights instead of running in head first.
Leona and Naut are much more simple and useful if you don't want to consider Rell, because you are not forced to look for pockets of vision.

#

For a new player?

#

I would much rather prefer an engage tank support

#

Braum is picked for his peel or niche counter picks

#

Also I don't think Braum is solid

#

Maybe niche/slightly below average

#

That's what I don't like

#

I want the non carries to go in

#

Not the carries
