I am a sup main and yes that might sound weird but I actually struggle winning with my duoq while I try learning my stuff in ranked
I just end up walking after them without thinking instead of playing my own game bc I just cant concentrate. Even tho I know I shouldnt DuoQ and got a worse winrate with someone else (no matter what role) I just dont stop agreeing or asking my friends to play with me.
Any ideas or mindsets or just nice texts to flame me so I stop doin that please or your own opinion I can learn from? :D
TY in advance

I doesn’t matter if you solo q or duo q just don’t get boosted make sure your friend and you are basically the same level and do good

#

Solo q is really bad imo even if you end up winning your lane there’s always someone inting most of the time and it’s hard to 1v9 but if you have a duo you can 2 v 8 which is better than 1v9

might be but I just end up not improving but more goin autopilot bc I DO HAVE A DUOQ

It's good to try and duo with other people so you can experience a variety of playstyles. Communicating is also important if you want to improve, you and your duo need to be comfortable with criticism from each other. It helps a lot if you guys are bot supp duo anyways, because this allows you two to learn about each other's role from a different perspective and improve upon input. As long as you guys don't flame each other and are willing to look back at a game and throw ideas like "I think you should've done this here" or "Because this play failed here, we can try doing this instead next time"

IMO duo queueing is better, but try to fit some soloq games here and there so you're exposed to more things

When u duo ur likely go up against another duo but even then idk how true that is. It's probably a really coincidental thing u have going on and it's not actually the case

#

Just duo or solo bro it makes no diff

#

Unless ur duo tilts u

#

And vice versa, u tilt ur duo

#

Ur solution isn't to stop duoqing, it's the approach the game the same when soloing and duoing

#

But if u legit want help on being more assertive, tell the ppl who ask u to duo that you just want to soloq in order to improve on ur own. There's no other way unless ur asking how to lie which is prob worse so

Focus on a learning objective in each game

#

and dont play around the adc but your own gameplan

#

if this sounds weird to you as a support main, play a more selfish champion, or a champ that can roam easily

# fiery star and dont play around the adc but your own gameplan

that is what I always mess up in duoq
I do have my gameplan but all the talkin just makes me go crazy idk
they mumble thru their whole jgl pathing or comment every 2nd minion or action thru the game while I pref either just talking about keyspells or jgl pathing and roams (timers) or other imo more important stuff than if they actually got the canon or not
but I start those talks too and I hate myself for it bc just as someone said to me if you play duoq unless u are a pro or something the people just take it as socialising instead of training

I've had an easier time climbing when duo q without voice chat. When in voice I have the same problem as you. I completely stop climbing based on decision making, I just blindly play around my duo. I recommend having a solo q account.

I made up a second acc for soloq and matchup practice but ended up never using it bc I play up to 10 different champs on my main anyway
