Like e.g Irelia into Kayle, Kayle basically can never fight Irelia after level 2/3, but Irelia is also useless into malphite.
Some general champs that are very lane dominant that I like in top, Olaf, Pantheon. Or even stuff like Varus, and Briar

Depends on the lane. But Warwick top is basically unfightable for most melees (some ranged champs can abuse his limited mobility, but if he plays the early levels well even most of those eventually have problems with him. Some other honorable mentions for top lane: Renekton, Darius, Jax, Mordekaiser, Sett. (Yasuo isn't on that list, in fact, he tends to struggle in top lane unless you're Pzz zang levels of godly at piloting him).

Anivia - Never has to risk life to farm, second life, insane waveclear
Cassio - Absurd single target sustained magic damage (rare), good waveclear
Viktor - Long range, high damage, shield, slow/stun, movement speed boost, good waveclear

Teemo is one of the strongest top lane champs if you can handle the constant ganking fromnt he enemy jungler. Quin is also pretty good. Briar top lane is just pure fun if you manage your W well.
