#Yone R should reset his Q stacks

What other champs resets Q stacks?
yasuo and ksante when they r
idk if theres more but theyre definitely the closest to yone
I guess there can be an argument made for Ksante and Yasuo not being as reliant on q3 as Yone
Tho are you sure about Yasuo Q3 not transferring? I feel like we just never see Yas Q3 staying there because Yasuo will only go in after hitting q3
yeah true but still it gets reset so its only fair for yone to have it too, not trying to cope it makes sense right
I just worry that Yone will be nerfed too hard from having Q reset that they will buff other parts of his kit
Which will probably be a damage buff to other parts of his kit, which idk if I would want to see
eh he doesnt need buffs only nerfs so this is more of an anti QoL
most balance changes turn into dmg buffs so yk... just a riot thing
ksante got a W damage buff which is the complete opposite of what he needs
same for velkoz but they luckily listened after all
Wait so you just want to nerf Yone and take away a QoL from him?
That's different lol
idk if its considered a QoL right now since its ben there since release iirc, yasuo had it taken away later on
lemme double check actually im not sure
their first instinct is always go for damage buffs
" Yasuo Flash blinks to the other side of a Sight icon visible Airborne icon airborne enemy champion nearest to the cursor, instantly generating maximum Flow resource Flow while resetting Gathering Storm Gathering Storm stacks."
yeah it def resets
yeah
why does yone have it? cause they both usually go for Q3>R but when they dont cause its not needed and it isnt on yone more often than yasuo its very frustrating
Are we sure that Ksante Q resets after ult?
I'm not seeing anything on the wiki, but might be blind
it does since his mini rework
Absent allied intervention, he can't even ult without using Q3 and landing it. It does clear stacks though (on cast, which means due to a subtle quirk of how E+Q combo works you can actually ult and then get a stack from input buffered Q during E (E+Q+R before reaching end of dash w/ target already knocked up).
W/ Q CD low enough it's possible for Yasuo to use Q3, then E+Q+R and do 'airblade' for the stack afterwards.
This is pretty interesting because you're right, Yone's main combo is Q3 into R immediately if you know if the Q will hit. It's basically the same as Yasuo in laning phase besides the fact that Yasuo requires you to hit a knock up in order to ult.
However, the only reason I can think of for why he doesn't lose stack after ulting is because of distance. Yasuo can blink 30 meters away and hold Q3 to add another 1 second knockup which I guess is broken in Riot's term. Same for Ksante, R someone across the wall to get a free Q3 in which just increases the CC. But I highly doubt this is the reason.
Yone doesn't lose Damage either if he gets his stacks reset
So regardless, it's fine. It also nerfs the distance he gets to close by intentionally missing R as a gap closer
I actually prefer R into Q3 if I can land it on Yone, but I see the value of doing Q3 into R for most cases (they can't avoid it if Q3 lands).
If u miss R it's joever
Idk if R into Q3 is unflashable tho
I feel like u can avoid the Q3 after
Similar to how you can flash the R after being hit by Q3 if it was from too close
R into Q3 is only if you know the opponent cant dodge the R or if you know 100% sure that if you use R it will hit. Other than that, throwing out R is way too risky alone. If you miss R you are basically overextending and sure you can E back but they just punish you by stepping up into your shadow or spirit.
Or again R to intentionally miss as a gap closer for Q3
No you can't, you're still CC'd from R for long enough that Q3 is guaranteed to land, problem is R is really telegraphed.
