If youre really good at Sion and have a really good understanding of Micro/Macro play, then yes. Lethality Sion is much better than Tank imo. He deals massive amounts of damage and has a threat of just going in with R.

Now youre thinking, Well wouldnt he just die super easily then? Yes, but thats the entire point of Lethality Sion, he is basically like the worst version of Karthus. Pump out as much damage as you can then let your team clean up the rest.

But in general, just go tank. Much easier and you still do crazy damage

I just dont get why would anybody thinnk lethality sion is good if you are playing to win.

I have played it a lot, and it is kinda fun, but you are kinda useless late

Also in lower elo at least you can still do tons of dmg with regular sion

I usually build heartsteel and just look to proc it as many times as i can in a team fight.

You will do like 30-40% hp of enemy adc in one auto if not more and you will have 6-7k hp lategame

lethality sion is only good when baus plays it bc he gets 13 cs per min. its effective elsewhere but not great

Always has been if you are good at the game, if you have more knowledge than the opponents then go for it. Tank still wins more often

It would seem that most people in the thread have the baus bias so they’re not giving you the entire situation.

I mean I have 300k mastery points on sion, mostly ad. Im pretty sure I could climb with ad sion. Its good if you are better than your oponent.

I have seen a lot of ad sions who just try to do baufs sion things and it usually backfires

Yeah, they just think “he went there and did this so I will do the same” without actually knowing why

just kamikaze with ult into enemy team to engage, W, Q, even if they burtst you down you can usually proc it in zombie mode on most of their squishies. all your team needs to do is follow up and finish them off and its gg
