PTA is theoretically really good scaling since it's a % amp for your while team

Besides that obviously DH is really good but the Hunter and Eyeball rows have much weaker scaling

if you like scaling champs, yeah you have veigar in the mid lane, but top lane is where its at. sion nasus kayle are absolutely insane at scaling.

rune wise, grasp overgrowth and gathering storm

if you prefer mage playstyle though then yeah veigar/vlad, but i find scaling much more rewarding on tanks. except for maybe vlad, no matter how much you scale on a mage you will still get one shot, and if you start one shotting people at 30 mins then scaling feels like nothing is actually improving after that, because you cant "one shot someone harder"

Scaling is relative. Into full squishy team level 18 Kassadin pops off. Into full tanks level 18 Vayne pops off. There is no definitive THE best scaling champ because there's a lot of them and they all depend on the scenario.

Kassadin is outscaled by a lot of champions late game. He is best during mid game when he gets level 11. It's 2023 and it still amazes me how many people dont get this.

Kassadin loses the 1v1 to every single side laner/juggernaut/bruiser late game

He shines against squishies so mid game it feels like you’ve outscaled them for the rest of the game but you didn’t, just the mid game and it sucks

In my experience his scaling does not fall off, if built properly (though he doesn't do as well v. tanky people as he does v. squishies).
