you aren’t gonna be beating zeds and what not in all ins, but no mage is that strong early game, especially not one that wont fall off. xerath has pretty solid and safe poke, outranging everyone you are likely to run into mid lane.

mid Lux is actually really good these days, and scales very well for a mage.

viktor swain are not good early. zoe is better but she falls off later

viktor swain are safe but they arent strong, if you want a “safe mid lane mage that is strong late game” that is literally all of them. go veigar in that case or something
