For me it's ok to ban it because it's to send a message to play something else i know its rude but giving them the champ they want and loses is not ok in every rank

I ban yuumis when hovered, I don’t want to consciously enter a game where one of the players on my team won’t be looking at their monitor

Else I dodge if they hover after I banned and yuumi isn’t banned

i think it’s pretty rude and very very likely to tilt your teammate. if the guy can’t play yasuo he’s just going to switch to some other yasuo-adjacent champ and likely do poorly. might as well give him the champ he feels most comfortable with

Only justifies if it’s like smth like asol on release where if you didn’t have first pick he was a permaban or a guy first timing him in ranked

tbh there will be players who are really good on those said champs. Yuumi for one is a pretty strong champ with big shield on E that also gives movement speed and atk speed to the adc. Champions like Nilah and Sivir can really abuse the strengths Yuumi brings. I think the mentality of "I will carry this game" is more important than pick and bans since that will allow you to improve quickly and effectively.

idk why u would ban it ? yi is really strong in current meta and it's proven, sineria has reached rank 1 recently and zlators is climbing with yi mid in gm atm i think, same for yasuo it is really strong, what if the player actually knows how to play yasuo and u juste throw like this ? it's really cringe to ban someone's champ, if u ban out my champ i will just soft int and take a lot of pleasure doing so

The only time it’s logical to do so is when your ally hovers a champ that the enemy team will also pick but will be better at: Your Sion top is going vs Bauffs, so you ban Sion to fuck Baus.

But that would only happen if you were snipping or in customs, and even so, it’s scummy.

Otherwise, there’s no logic nor superficial reason to do so.
