#Why is "Player Attack Move" so stupid?

Hi, I'm typical ADC player from silver and I'm trying to learn proper kiting, but I found kinda hard problem. I use Player Attack Move to kite, but I found out I'm often hitting minions around my target. I tried to use Attack Champion Only, but it looks like it doesn't work together with Player Attack Move. Only way I found is to use Player Attack Only, but this makes your champion do nothing if you can't hit a target (so it's hard to use in chaotic teamfights). Is there any way to attack ONLY champions inside minion wave with Player Attack move? Thanks

P.S. It works with jungle monsters if they are passive

How "play with attack champions only"?
Attack move targets closest target to cursor (or player with incorrect settings), and it doesn't care if target champions only is enabled or not; you'll hit that minion 100% time.

The way I found the best to work around this is; first set a proper key bind for your attack move click. For example, mine is my left click, so I can move and auto with left click but also move around with my right click. Second, enable toggle champs only on and key bind it. For example, my is locked to my middle mouse button. So if I’m needing to auto within a wave I can turn on the toggle champs on and auto or just hover over them and left click and it’ll target them.

it just help to not missclick on minion or when people are behind their tower or under drake

what hollowedattack is saying is, if you have "Attack Move on Cursor" enabled, your attack move will aim for the target closest to your cursor as opposed to the target closest to your champion

that gives you a lot more room to misclick than if you were just right clicking

Just Attack closest target to cursor that is champion

Hmm? I mean it just doesnt work like it supposed to so its prob a bug. Anyway i just dive without attack move cuz it trolls me too often

I left click and use toggle champs only and it works lmao

@next tendon it’s not locked to only right click that would make no sense. Theoretically it can work with any key bind, my friend uses space bar
