I wonder who would better adapt to the meta and who has better skills overall

no they're not evenly matched and t1 will win more overall

#

t1 are better in every single role noticeably barring mid

#

t1 can carry through every role whereas Gen.G heavily rely on mid and their bot lane has never done well vs T1

Gen G won in the end lol. I guess T1 was too cocky

mid lane is probably even and i would much rather have current peyz than guma

coarse scaffold
#

Midlane even -> Faker presses Zhonya on accident and loses a game almost singlehandedly because he baits his jungle

#

Even the Chovy gromp flash was not this bad

Peyz was spoon fed kills

it was his previous play where he dashed in agressively on the other side of mid and oner followed up but i'm pretty sure it was some kind of comms issue

#

I really don't think oner was supposed to follow it up

#

it's not like they communicate everything during a tf so oner just thought it was the right thing to do I guess, but as someone said it's better to all follow a call even if it's bad than be indecisive

I was referring to 2 plays

#

1 play he makes a comical error my mispressing Zhonya

"Faker presses Zhonya on accident and loses a game almost singlehandedly because he baits his jungle" you phrased it like it's the same play

coarse scaffold
#

Other player he aggressively dashes and hits charm that baits Oner to try to turn the bad play because Faker will die

#

And it's before obj

#

What's even worse is Faker was extremely ahead in Game 4 but was still astrodiffed

#

Because he made multiple terrible plays

coarse scaffold
#

But it wasn't clear

vale swan
#

I mean he still had flash though

#
  • they also lost the fight because guma got rooted and couldn't get in range so like in a scenario if he zhonyas + flash if they dive to kill him it woulb be a better angle for T1
#

especially when they have braum shield + sion as a frontline so it wouldn't have been easy for geng

coarse scaffold
#

No it's still horrible

#

You overextend which forces you to lose position

#

And running away from Jinx is L

vale swan
#

no i'm not saying to run away but to flash out

coarse scaffold
#

It does basically the same thing

#

You have to give up space against a comp that massively outranges you

vale swan
#

of course there was the potential k'sante ult but it would have sent him into T1, maokai's w is still flashable to delay

coarse scaffold
#

The Zhonya play was unrecoverable even with Flash

#

The mid fight where Oner gets fucked by Lulu was bad but only Faker had to die

vale swan
#

i'm not talking about the zhonya play, that... yeah

coarse scaffold
#

If Faker flashes out, it's still a horrible play

#

Pretty sure GenG would have to play as bad as possible for him to live

#

Oner decision was good in theory but Delight outplayed him hard

#

Cancelled Q2 and poly

#

After they dropped their lead and let GEN scale that game was pretty hard in general but forcing so hard sealed the game 100%

#

Like Oner going in saved Faker but also made the rest of the team extend uo

#

Which ended up being bad because Oner got outplayed, but at the same time Lulu had literally everything up
