I'm fed up. I main top. I was bronze 1 this morning, and I am now bronze 3.

I feel that I play Badly occasionally, but every game, without any exception, there is somebody ruining it. EVERY, and I MEAN EVERY GAME TODAY, somebody has either been toxic in lobby, given up in lobby, done something ridiculous like forgetting to purchase jg item, and there have been probably atleast 4 ff votes in each game. My OP.gg looks like im a troll at this point because I don't give up and turtle and wait for end like my teams do, so I might end with a pretty bad K/D. Am I just getting fucked over by riot matchmaking? I play Illaoi top mainly, is that my problem, is Illaoi not able to 1v9 my team who will often have atleast 10 deaths without having accomplished anything? TL:DR Need any advice/tips for how to 1v9 games, how to stop chain losing games, and when there isn't anything I can do about it so i'm not as pissed when I'm on a 4-5 loss streak

i die because i try to make things happen, but my team refuses to help, or i die trying to save their sorry asses, just for them to die 10 seconds later.. or i just flat out get treated like a meatshield.. its not as surface level as 'stop dying so much'

your mmr is still bronze I average, your lp gains will be juiced until you get back there

but also consider games like your teemo (4-12-3) which was winnable if you weren't sprinting it, 4-15-4 illaoi, 0-13-8 soraka - but even outside of those games, are you even carrying?

there's no grand conspiracy keeping you in bronze, no cosmic bad luck - ppl make accounts all the time and climb to diamond+ elo without issue; why is that? are they just luckier?

hyperfocusing on your teammates underperforming and inting won't help you improve - focus solely on your own gameplay, because rn you are not translating any of your damage into anything meaningful

even in diamond i get inting dogs - just had a masters 0lp katarina otp first time trynd top and go 3-13-4 or some shit - but in the long run afkers and inters benefit you if you yourself are playing consistently - there's a 4/5 chance you get a griefer on your team, 5/5 on yours, assuming that you yourself never int or grief; but you do - the games i linked show it

yea i get that i run it sometimes but 90% of the time im getting hard camped by their fed tm8s and theres nun i can do- i was dyin in the soraka game cause team wouldnt peel when i tried to heal them 😭

but even if your team can't peel there's no justification to be 0-13-8, you shouldn't be putting yourself in a position to require 'peel' as an enchanter - if anything, you exist to peel for your team

in laning phase the adc didnt respect her range and just walked up 300 range and started farming and i took the damage because i was trying to stop her from dying

if you're getting caught out that's on you, i'm not saying anybody was performing well in that game on your team or that it was winnable, but you were doing as bad as everybody else

this is what i mean btw focusing on the mistakes of your own team doesn't help u climb - u should only be focusing on how u could that played that game better from factors within ur control

you will never see that shit adc again and they are obviously going to be bad because they're bronze

yea it just feels like when im doing good, i just get shut down by fed enemies and suddenly im just as bad as them an game is over

im not one to ff, and i dont ever give up, but like alot of the time game is just over even when trying to save it, and i know the whole no game is over in bronze but my team wont listen to my pings when enemy takes baron, and i see them 2v5 contesting it

idk i don't know what specific mistakes ur making because i don't have a vod of ur game, but you are 100% making mistakes that cost you your victories or you'd be climbing rn

if you really care about climbing i'd recommend finding a coach to pinpoint what u need to improve on gameplay wise, but i'm telling u rn the mentality of blaming ur teammates won't help u

i've gotten multiple coaches in the last few days, and they've nitpicked afew specific things, but for the most part they've said i just need to grind games and i'll climb

then grind games, your illaoi w/r is 58% so u can probs get up to silver on that if you just play it

stick to 1 role and don't randomly swap champs

I will say even if your team is absolutely completely garbage and working against you, you should still not be having 12+ deaths in a game.

best advice i can give is that whenever you lose a game, take an hour or two break

dont go and play another one until you feel like you're back in the right headspace

takes some self restraint not to just hop back in, but if you have another game you enjoy then that's a good thing you can do

people trying to help is the worst. Know the outcomes of a fight and the odds it will end in a victory. People going for like a 10% chance of success (if) the jungler doesn't show up for a gank are the worst. Why take such a risky fight where everything has to go right just to win?

in all seriousness, bronze is suppose to be a test of pure fundamentals and nothing more which you are clearly lacking. i implore you to go look up "league of legends guide top lane fundamentals" and you don't even have to win lane i mean freezing and getting a 30 cs lead is always a good start. i'm positive if you limit your champ pool to just illaoi and volibear you'll be climbing in no time
