Items, his whole gameplan is cs until you buy your items and then destroy. That’s why a lot of high level vlad players have amazing cs

simplest answer is items

spikes at fiendish (if ur going NH, which i usually prefer to do), then spikes mythic, then 2nd and last spike is 3rd

Yea, AH is super good on Vlad, I second the NH into CD buildpath suggestion. After those 2 items, deathcap is a must for next AP item (I've had success in ARAMs getting Gargoyle Stoneplate for the resistances on mages like Vlad, Swain, and others that actually need some survivability to be effective in teamfights).

PRECISION
PTA - troll
LT - troll
Fleet - not the greatest, can be played but just dont lol
Conq - amazing rune on vlad, currently one of his best, if you do take conq you will want Triumph, Tenacity, Last Stand and for secondary you can run something like Nimbus, Trans, Gathering (choose which ones you prefer)

DOMINATION
Electrocute - its ok, i dont like the rune but you can def run it and have success, rest of runes would be Taste of blood, Ghost Poro/Eyeball, Treasure/Ingenious.
Predator - used to be good, a lot more 4fun but i still enjoy running it and win a bunch, playable but run other runes imo, rest of runes would be Taste of blood, Ghost Poro/Eyeball, Ingenious (you NEED ingenious).
Dark Harvest - 4fun af, troll
Hail of Blades - troll

SORCERY
Aery - another great rune on vlad, good for top lane vlad but can be used in mid effectively, can replace Gathering for Scorch.
Comet - not worth, basically trolling
Phase Rush - one of the best runes for vlad, insanely consistent as well as scales really well. noob friendly and the main rune i will ALWAYS recommend new vlad players.

RESOLVE
Grasp - its 4fun, not worth running in a serious game
Aftershock - troll
Guardian - troll

INSPIRATION
Glacial - troll
Spellbook - can be used, but its never really good in an exact scenario, its ok if you're able to play vlad and use the rune correctly but eh its just not worth it lol
First Strike - its ok but just run aery atp

should note you can run a TON of secondary rune pages from ALL of the runes. they are; Tenacity, Last Stand (no real reason to take triumph for secondary), Taste of Blood, Ghost Poro/Eyeball, Treasure, Ingenious (its really what you prefer if you do choose Domination), Nimbus, Trans, Gathering/Scorch, Second Wind/Boneplating, Revitalize, and then Magical Footwear, Minion Demat, Cosmic Insight

iirc he has one of the lowest ranges in the game for a ranged champ, so it's hard to proc FS unless ur into a MU like galio (but ur better off running conq here)

but it should be noted that you can run ignite and be just fine, it's all preference (just ghost flash has more value is all)
