Yes that is exactly what the system is telling you
Your LP > than your mmr. So you need to win more to increase your LP gains.

Sometimes how much you win is not even important. If you check your profile > stats page, you see stats on how you fair against the average in your elo.
This is split in 3 categories:
Combat,
Income,
Map Control
If your are below A, it means you are doing fairly bad and your MMR is likely to decline, even if you are winning games. If you have S or better, you are likely to get better MMR.
MMR is comparing you with other people on the same level based on skill.
Win and Loss is not the only thing that matters.

I did not say that, I said both contribute to it, just as reports do too.
