#Literally Elo Hell
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
ur cs is also awful in 90% of your games
and your death count is extremely high too, consistently
probably take better fights/less risky plays, and farm your camps
its hard to go more in depth just from op.gg
you also shouldn't blame teammates, just focus on your own gameplay, as there aren't too many games you are overperforming
Elo hell isn’t real
You’re coping
And not as good as you think you are
Cry about it

Yeah like
You got a lot of work to do to climb man
Elo hell doesn’t exist rly anyway
dont let the losses blow your mental understand that you wont be able to win every single game even on a good day
+1 👍 you’re in bronze, your teammates might not be the best but theres a reason you’re in that rank. Your death count is incredibly high across the board (not counting yuumi, of course) the point is to look at what you’re doing wrong instead of your teammates. If you fix what you’re doing wrong and play better, you will climb. Its that simple.
Don't, Preseason provides nothing besides increasing your MMR. I would just use Rank to get better at what you struggle with.
Not sure why you're caring about LP during Preseason
cause it matters as much as in season
If anything else, pick a time and stick with, and play more games.
MMR does, not LP
Everyone who’s at wherever they’re at has played more than enough games.
what do u mean by "not lp"
Preseason only serves to bolster or nerf your LP gains on real seasons.
your rewards wont change but you will lose lp as usual
Literally this
Which is MMR
You could drop all the way down to bronze 4 0 LP, your placements will be the same, but your gains and losses become Extreme.
just answer
Also, this has nothing to do with the current thread.
what do u mean by "not lp"
your ranking will depend of your rank right before the reset
if you grind dia from bronze during preseason, you will start plat as a result
That is MMR......
@vivid dirge just play more and stick to 1 role. Chose jungle or mid or top; doesn’t really matter. Play a lot. Everyone who has hit any elo above where they started took plenty of time.
no it has nothing to do with mmr
its about your rank right before the reset
Yeah I'm not arguing about this
if you have a bronze mmr with a dia rank, you will start plat
oh wait
just stop spreading misinformation
it doesnt matter except for mmr
Your MMR INCREASES if play during Preseason
wait so does your rank just reset
there is no difference between preseason and season
in January, your rank will be soft reset
oh ok thanks
depending as i said of your rank right before this reset
so everything you lose right now will have direct effects on your future rank
don't take the advice that playing more will accomplish improvement. you need to get a coach. one way to do that is find someone who has legitimately (not boosted) attained a rank of i'm gonna say, minimum plat, and pick their brain to learn. You can find youtubers with advice on leveling up, but research the youtuber first to make sure they are legit their rank, and that it is higher rank. because ANYONE can put out a video.
until you play with or against win traders, you lose or win no matter what you do
as far as i can tell it's your first season, don't worry
just try to learn what every champ does, what are their cooldowns and when to take objectives
It took me 8 seasons to go from bronze to 0.2%
3 seasons later I'm the same rank as I was when I started, my game knowledge is way higher but I don't apply it, I have terrible adhd and impulsivity problems which I think is the main reason
just don't put yourself in a mindset that you are good, you are not. You make a lot of mistakes, everyone does acknowledging that is first step to improvement. Despite being better than most player base I know that I'm bad, when I play against players with double my lp I get crushed which is very humbling
that's the problem as well, even at masters + you have people trading back when they shouldn't or following bad calls
because of tilt or pride
I always try to be the hero when I should just play safe
Focus on cs instead of trading
learn to cs until you can do both at the same time
I crave the instant dopamine rush so much that I immensely struggle with decisions that don't immediately reward me
This is true for everything in my life lol I'm a huge drug addict
I feel like not improving at league despite learning so much has helped me become more aware of the problems in my life actually haha
it requires some will power, like you want to walk up for cs, but you know you shouldn't because you will take free damage. Just lose the 3 cs instead of half hp so you can go agro once it bounces back.
league teaches you patience
but I'm not super good at it since I always want to go aggro, which sometimes makes me a coinflip player
https://prnt.sc/cnl0bx_4kDuE
I find leagueofgraphs to be more useful for analysis than op.gg
Neither compare to vod reviews though
it is and lolalytics best for items
bro you're doing fine why'd you even make this post lmao
literally just need to play more and you'll get out
you just started the game, and you're at positive win rate bronze 1 that's legit better than 90% of people who start playing
what that ashe stats doin 🤣
nvm thought the cs was 7.1 not 1.1
ashe support
check NA d1 rn
There are wintraders in every server, I have played with or against players who lost 40-60 games in a row against same players
If you aren't betted against your odds of having a wintrader is the same as enemy team having one
trust me theres perma wintrading in d1
why would some1 fucking wintrade in preseason
thats the only thing i can comprehend currently for half the players i get queued with
You get 10-13$ per traded game?
and for some reason theyre never on the opposite fkn team i just want the cait on the other team one fkn time
You know what you do?
You add all wintraders to your friends and just play when they are in game or off-line
I do it with people I hate
whats in trading lmao
what?
this has to be the worst take of all time
Yeah I’m with Ned on that.
Practice makes perfect holds merit, even here.
I’m not gonna pretend I know or care who that is.
as a hardstuck gold, u cant
thats not elo hell
every claim someone can make of elo hell can just be disproven as it happens on both sides
ur asking what elo hell is when ur saying it ?
It refers to portions of the matchmaking ranking spectrum where individual matches are of poor quality, and are often determined by factors such as poor team coordination which are perceived to be outside the individual player's control.
Elo hell is an idea made up by hardstuck plat-diamond players who can’t be carried any further by their skewed MMR, and they’re looking for something to blame instead of admitting they’re at their current peak.
to an extent i think elo hell does exist but that doesn't change what people above are saying which is that 99% of your matches will generally be within your control
for example someone with +6 and -20 is in literal elo hell
That’s not elo hell, that’s the game trying to pull you out of an elo you’re not supposed to be in. If you play and win your MMR will improve. If not, you’ll fall a bit but you can fix your MMR in an elo where you’ll stomp
Bad MMR is the game trying to put you where you think you belong, if you play well it will fix itself
i've seen iron ii players with elo gains as bad as +4 -20 before it just sorta happens
the issue with stomping is the fact you have to win like 100 games in a row before your elo becomes somewhat normal again
and at that point you had might as well had made a new account rather than hire a smurf
If you’re gonna climb, you’ll climb. MMR be damned
its caused by the poor placelemnt system
normally, you lose rank while the rank reset but iron 4 cannot demote below, so they start at the same rank but they have the huge lp gain from placement aswell, inflating their rank
hecarim:
some with +6 -20 is MUCH higher than their rank
thats like being diamond with gold mmr
this also only exists if they sat there spam losing games at iron4 but +4 - 20 is quite literally impossible
No offense, but it's impossible to stay at the bottom of iron IV, just plug in your mouse
and I bet that those who are stuck there don't really care and enjoy the game in a different way
most people in iron 4 are inters who do the iron4 to x rank challenges or selling the accs bc they get good money somehow
People are still in about this Zzz.
Also, the take I had about playing more is true; even if Faker was placed in Iron 4 with 100% winrate (again, not possible due to other lanes or ints, mistakes, etc.” he would not climb past Plat with only 30 games simply because there’s literally not enough games and numbers to work with.
If Faker ended up in Iron 4 and wins 30 +30LP games, he would still only be Silver. This is assuming someone is actually good at the game is popping off with 100% winrate at +30. Most people are not 100% winrate even smurfing in modern League from Smurf queue and Riot’s unique matchmaking, let alone have the MMR that allows them to gain +30 a win. You do need to play more than just 30 (just an example number) games a season.
There is not a single diamond+ player who has less than 300 total games their entire time spent on League, and that’s assuming that they can learn and process extreme amounts of information. Your average player can’t do that. So yes, play more, at least 100 games before you can assume or suggest Elo Hell/hardstuck.
just win more than you lose
I picked warwick and literally had 100% wr on him in iron
people in iron are literally intentionally not getting better rank
u die way too much even though i'm bronze 4 i die a lot less.
U are playing warwick how is ur kda under 1
fyi i got more than like 1.5 kda when i forgot to take smite
other than when i play very bad
first time viego i had 8/12/23
the thing is that u r getting kda under 1 with warwick which is known for survivability
i'm loking at his last few matches
Averages over 10 deaths on warwick over 28 games and has the audacity to say "my teammates kinda suck"
