Depends, a lot of ppl reported false bans and it could also be that reporting the person directly would help with that

There are blacklisted words. “Cancer” is one of them. I got chat banned at like minute 5 for making a “our team is cancer” joke to my teammate after we secured a kill (not toxic, but instead kind of hyping my team/comp up)

Well I got chat restricted for staying "What lane did you fucking gank, you clown?" To a 0 kill parcip jungler at 17min.

According to Riot being afk doing nothing is fine, but calling someone a clown is going too far.

Note that I was tilted by enemy jungler sitting in my lane while mine had less cs, no objectives taken while doing nothing.

agree bro i sometimes type things like "enemy jungler is dead lets go drake" but with the new list of banned words it seems that i will get banned for saying "dead"

We need a list of words people get chat banned for. i was chat banned for 14 days pussy and 3 days dick honestly i thought this talk was banter and allowed. From my 5 years of playing this game it was a anything goes chat unless you are being discriminative or telling people to off them selves. This change is tough to adjust to. I fear playing the game because i might lose my account.

I like the idea of flaming, because it gives a sense that either you or your teammates are playing stupid in which was the reason you lose the game. Like if a top laner keeps dying because of over extending with no vision, then flaming there would make sense as they are the one costing you the game. Flaming has no point in doing so when someone just does it because they are ego as shit and aren't good.

Whenever people flame me, I use that to understand why they are flaming me, in which avoids me into doing the same mistake, but the people that flame for no reason I mute. And that's how I got better at the game, from people actually flaming me.

It's just people think of Toxicity=Bad when it's literally not. Some of them are literally flaming you because they want you to understand that play you did is not the right idea.
