one thing about Akali is that she doesn't have a high fast burst combo like Zed or Talon

It’s not like rengar where you see him fly at you and then you see a bright light, you have time to do something, if nothing else disengage.

Granted I also never play champs with less than 4K effective HP

Most people just don’t play her fast enough, her TTK feels so slow compared to something like Zed or Rengar

If Akali wants me dead, I 50/50 what side of the donut she’s in while I disengage, and usually I’ll catch her trying to follow up. I either grab her and punish, or I make a gap large enough she needs to burn E or R1 to get back on
