#Is it actually possible to fix elo?(low lp gains)

I've been told "just keep playing" and the elo will get fixed, and that it's based off of recent games. The last 60 games i have a 62% winrate and still getting 12/11 LP and losing 18/19. Shouldnt that be enough to increase my ELO?

you need to improve your mmr

if your mmr is under your rank (your case) you will lose more lp and gain less

also vice versa. if your mmr is higher than your rank, you will gain more lp than you lose

but you will face harder opponents

the only way to improve mmr is long winning streaks

i finished plat 3, peaking plat 2 last season gaining 13 lp and losing 16 or so, finished placements gold 2 this season and climbed with 18+ -12, still gaining 17+ while losing 15-

If you want to increase LP gains, start dodging, a lot.

Go negative like -300, and you'll be back to normal level, I'd wager.
