The problem is the yellow part doesn't stick to the body

Which it is supposed to be sticking and not having a gap

the wing part? take it back apart to that point. its just not fully seated. some parts have to need to pushed hard , just fully support the underside and put some muscle into it. thats actually a trapped part so u can sand the pegs down a couple passes to get it to go in easier
