I built most of these kits over 5 to 10 years ago. Back in Gunpla mood again thanks to the new anime giving me OYW nostalgia. Hope to build of my Federation and Zeon army. And maybe later on OMNI and ZAFT armies for Gundam Seed too!

Want to say like 40% done now. The arm reminds me of building the Rgm 79 GM. I definitely need to get some GM variants soon!
Was going tp order online but I found the RG Titan Gundam Mk 2 and Tallgeese cheaper at Bandai Cross store and got it there. But also ordered some HGUC kits online.
Slowly but surely 50% done now?
Package arrived in mail 🥳
HGBG 1/144 Rx 78-2 Gundam is finished!
More to the backlog. Hope to build these kits before my PBandai preorders arrrive.
Tried my best to panel line the Beyond Global Rx-78-2 Gundam
Haven't built gunpla in a few days. Just building pieces then taking breaks. Trying different method where I panel line while assembling.
Not getting any faster.
Almost done! Just need to make the rifle and extra hands!
Just need guntank to complete the trio
Roughly 20 minute sessions each picture. Hope to speed things up and keep up the quality
My toolset and backlog just got huger!
the single bladed nippers rule!
Didn't finish my gelgoog yet but got even more stuff in the mail! 🥹
Almost done going to consider it my last build of May 2025 lol. With the new tools feels like I still take as long to build but the the nub marks looks bit better.
Now it is really finished and tried thr acrylic paint markers. Looks like I need second coat for red
Some finishing touches with panel liner and paints. Can't tell if second coat of red paint helped or not
Using pink as a base layer does help a lot
Hguc Gelgoog Marine is finished. I lost track how long it took me to build it but it was fun detailing it with the paint markers.
Wow rg sazabi box is huge.
Guntank is not as complicated but I think it only took me 2 hours to get this far lol. Plastic cement and tweezers came in clutch. I broke the peg and the tiny yellow piece wouldn't fit so I widened the opening too much and glued it on.
My 2 p bandai bootlegs arrived. Seems okay except the shield piece is damaged. And looks like gouf has waterslides neat
Started the police zaku. The pieces are so tiny I keep dropping them. Tried metallic red marker for eye but definitely looks more like bronze. Maybe because I did not try basecoat with white first oops.
Seems a lot of detail comes from the stickers
Got distracted so I didn't finish the police zaku today. Oh well.
I think I need to apply the stickers now otherwise it will be too hard to apply after I complete the assembly.
Miserable experience building this. I keep messing it up. The sticker just doenst look right no matter how i adjust it. Ended up painting the lines on other aide. Took me forever to realize I missed up the hip joint and it took me like 20+ minutes to take apart the leg to fix the joint. I honestly prefer the regular hg kits where the thigh is just two pieces while the police zaku thigh was like 10 pieces and incredibly difficult to separate.
Military police zaku is finished!
Update to my Federation and Zeon armies!
Started eg nu gundam yesterday. And sanded the beam saber hilt seamlines now it is loose lol oops.
Started gluing process for my first paintjob. Will save the gun and backpack tomorrow. And I can't glue the shoulder and torso until I finish the arms and legs. Might have to prime and paint those first too and do the prime and paint for shoulder/torso separately.
Pbandai let's go! Straight into the backlog lol.
Started sanding process spend over an hour maybe. Right side pieces were sanded. Did my best to remove some seamlines. I don't know how people have the patience to do this for kits with more pieces!
First girlpla is here the rest tomorrow.
Continuing gp01 trying to seal gaps without putty or sprue goo
Girlpla order!
No scribing tool just tried my best to trace the existing line on the face mask either hobby knife
It says grey primer but looks more like white maybe it is light gray. I read that it's okay if it's splotchy. Lots of brushstrokes lol. I will let it cure and try painting tomorrow. Then see how well the paint goes tomorrow
Almost done with gp01
More priming and detailing feet
thats nice painting skill vro
the booster and the camera on backpack has very meat and clear painting
Thanks the camera and thrusters were painted using paint markers. They are easier to control since they aren't too thick or too thin just right. Just can't use them on big surfaces due to brushmarks.
well you should try duolehui acrylic marker pen, they works well on big surfaces if ur using them properly
HEY LOOK AT ME @silver ruin! I JUST MADE YOU level 15 !
I'm using vallejo acrylic paints for now. It's okay. Just need to get thr hang of thinning the paints
ok.. good luck
Primed feet and topcoated backpack. The metallic gunmetal doesn't seem to be shiny even with gloss coat
Mix of spongepainting, drybrushing on shoulder and feet. and layering Grey's to white on torso. Sponge/drybrushing seems better for white at least.
the paint has the texture of painting on a canvas, i like it
Yes sponge painting does leave a texture on it but as long as the color looks good
Think I'm finally done painting gp01 just need to topcoat varnish tomorrow then can fully assemble saturday
It still swear seems micron pen panel liner is not compatible with varnish
Finally started my first girlpla! Feida Nobel Gundam Berserker.
Why she so small lol
Okay NG GP01 is finished. Just small spots is missing matte coat.
I have to do so much sanding/cutting of pegs. They barely fit.
