#Ariel, Burst Mode

I love starting with doing a simple base, and naming the project.
Some safety stripes to add color
The main body is in a pearlescent white, Gaianote white with some Mr Crystal Color sapphire
Some masking really let the separation shine thru
Working in large patches, usually about 60-100 parts at a time
Test fitting some of the major assemblies, lets me see how the color separation is going, as well as checking clearances to avoid damage to my paint
A full test minus the v-fin, since I had to run out amd get more candy red.
Candy coating, one of my favorite things to do.
Staying organized as I start prepping the backpack for assembly
Some fun with heat stressing the thrusters, even though the detail will be buried
Backpack assembled, minus the fins. The attachment for Ariel lined up on the first try
Getting everything ready for tomorrow
Decals on the fins!
Hooray!!!
Thanks. I more or less ripped the colors from Tenta Iida's Ingenium costume
Yknow what now that I see the colors and all that, that’s really great scheme to use for a Gunpla
Ingenious
Color schemes are hard. I usually just rip them from something and tweak it a little. Here i added in a second shade of grey, as well as brought in some more metal tones to widen the palette
I totally agree, but you nailed it with this one .looks killer and I dig the hell out of it
Sorry ping
I dont mind pings.
Start vs End, exactly how many decals you can go thru, even on a smaller kit.
Last parts, done and drying
Body assembled, trying to get her in somewhat of a running pose.
Sitting in anticipation for peak
Thanks. It was a ton of fun.
You said you liked MS with proportional weapons and you prefer melee, when I have the proper supplies I plan to be building the TR-3 Kehaar as it’s a bulky model that can challenge me,and it’s got the sickest beam Axe around
