i kind of consider wallrun need to be implemented right
it need to be done with the right momentum (p=m.v)
adding weight system based an carry weight by certain threshold affecting movement speed limiting the character to perform wallrun/climbing/unable to do both
i envision wallrun like on titanfall
adding drop item such
exoskeleton = carry more weight and second primary on secondary slot
thruster = able to perform fast short jump make wallrun longer
lol it became RPGish
in the end of the day its a cool feature which you only found in action movie great to see but hard to master
