Two different platforms. My PC gets 20-50 frames on Squad. Nothing stable. Squad is the one title I don't play like that because I Squad Lead 99% of my time played. My squad do the kills, I do the SL stuff. Half the reason I migrated to the title was to leave that stuff behind. But it is mighty hard to sweat direct combat when your game literally freezes almost any time somebody on your screen shoots
I'm also using a wireless mouse on a bed where I usually use a controller when I play Squad.
And I always let new guys gun while I drive because I've more than had my time + know there's absolutely nothing gained for the team if I'm selfish for the gunner seat knowing my PC's not reliable 🫡
Which as you've probably noticed is why I almost never fly. My game periodically stutters just driving logi, nevermind that shit. I play Squad for everything but the gunplay

But you're claiming 7+ K/D, using a console, on a controller...with aim assist off. It just seems super unlikely, especially since you don't have the best situational awareness around, in a significantly slower paced game. Either you're a vehicle main, or you have pocket medics up yah bum constantly.

My most used weapon on 4 was the SRAW, so evidently I can aim with analogue sticks. I gather it's something you struggle with
FYI first 1300 hours of Squad were with a controller - if I'd known reWASD or doing my own configs at the time I'd have kept it up - but the config I used didn't have SL or command functions and I tired of having to straddle the keyboard too.

If you're doing the Road to BF6 shit on 2042 (Unlocking the 2 weapon skins, 2 vehicle skins, 2 operator skins + the tags and extras that come with) - those Ammo box lobbies
You can join, get logistics ribbon 3, leave. Join again, get ribbon 3, leave. Just keep repeating. And it's much faster xp than any of the other methods. Takes like 20 seconds~ to get 3rd ribbon. 4k xp on ribbons alone on dxp time (Fri-Mon I think?)
Save you plenty of time if you're wanting your skins for BF 6 but want to enjoy your time.

Love that little rant vid. Its almost like battlefield is meant to be a bit closer to a tactical arcade shooter where good movement, positioning, gadget use and shooting are key not how fast can you zip around the other players screen while having perfect accuracy to shoot back.
Personally I think its great. You move to move positions not to have an advantage in a firefight because you are a moving target with no penalties.
also, i have never heard anyone cry about BF1s movement. It's only one of the best battlefields out there just behind BC2, BF3 and BF4.

BC2 was peak BF campaign. It was a mix of serious and funny, while still be grounded in a believable way. Had some of the best dialogue in an FPS campaign. The gameplay was ahead of it's time too.
BF3 campaign was good, and had some really standout parts. But felt a little too one dimensional in a lot of aspects, falling short, with bursts of good parts in-between. It's theme and atmosphere is what carried it. Similar thing with BF1 campaign(s).

I think a lot of it is due to Vince Zampella leading BF6. He was a big part of the OG CoD MW and MW2, apex legends, titanfall amd was put in charge of Dice LA and BF2042 after its horrid launch so the man knows what to do to make a good game.
I imagine being a more senior person at EA and the legendary games he has worked on he may have both the influence and the balls to tell the high up EA peeps to back down, stop interfering and stop thinking about dollars for once and let the man attempt to cook a proper battlefield game.

Oh for sure. Wasn't a rumor, it genuinely started as a battle royal hence the operators and special powers but was pivoted back to 'normal' battlefield gameplay due to player feedback and the slow downturn of BR popularity at the time.
I played it too but really struggled to get past the first 20-40 hours once I realized everything wrong with it.

It makes more sense to have separate voice channels for each 4-person squad. Gotta make sure your drive is set as gpt as well. If it isnt gpt, you'll need to convert your drive to that, then turn off csm. Then you can enable secure boot

I also got stuck in a save and close back to bios loop for like 20 mins before I realized I had to convert my drive to gpt. And even doing that wasn't simple as I had no spare space (partition shit) as I had some old remnant of a previous windows install in my disk management info. Had to fucking delete one (which was scary as I wasn't initially sure which one was the active partition with system info in it).. Once I did that I had spare room enough for another partition to convert the drive. It was fkn cooked

I had same issue with an old random sys file related to some old bloatware bullshit.
Had to use a forcedeleter (manual deleting program thing) to remove it as couldn't find a way to uninstall the driver
