#Swarmui porting for SAA

Hi, I've been using SD for a long time now and a friend who has been helping me all the way through with my issues has told me to install swarmui as he is more knowledgeable with that then SD.

But recently he has became very busy so support from him has died down a lot so i have no one to really ask for help with this issue.

Basically I use an app called SAA (character select stand alone app) to generate characters that illustrious checkpoints can do and modify them in anyway I want.

The issue is that this app works for SD but with swarmui it just causes port issues, I've modified the checkpoint paths so that it discovers the checkpoints from the swarm folders but it just highlights in red in notepad++ and the app just goes in a permanent blurred state compared to the default SD which is all good. I've fixed the issue in the settings but it still gives a blurred state in the app.

I've looked at the ip for the swarmui but it's different to how it looks from SD, so i'm at lost on what to do, my friend did start this stuff with me but at the end of our session he believes its a port issue but nothing more has been done.

I hope this is a simple fix and can be done quickly

thank you

I know nothing about the "SAA" you're mentioning, but if you screenshot the relevant configuration pages I might be able to figure it out

# oblique plank sorry "SD" is stable diffusion and i was using reforge. this is the settings fil...

it's a bit confusing what you're trying to achieve 🤔
just to clear things up:

  • SD as Stable Diffusion is a (family of) model
  • to run models, you use a backend, such as ComfyUI or Reforge, A1111, etc.
(- most backends also have a built in webUI to use them)
  • on top of a backend, you can use a frontend, like SwarmUI or the Character Select SAA you're already using

Swarm is tightly integrated with Comfy and can act as a passthrough to use other frontends through it by using the endpoint http://yourswarmurl:port/ComfyBackendDirect
