Sage attention installation on pre-compiled back-end fails but when i give manually installed comfyui it works

so i manually install comfyui and install sage attention same way as i install on pre-compiled back-end and i give this comfyui and it works perfect

i had asked in #open-help-spam but i saw your message so opening here @oblique bay

when the above image checked you will see literally it is installed properly

when i give manually installed comfyui as back-end it works flawlessly

comfy is giving the wrong pip install command, see https://github.com/mcmonkeyprojects/SwarmUI/blob/master/docs/Troubleshooting.md#i-need-to-install-something-with-pip

comfy might also be swallowing an error? not sure offhand

(it's possible it eg is not happy on the 5090 nightly pytorch and the error is hidden by that comfy message)

all could be. but when i install comfyui manually and install manually sage attention and use that manual comfyui as backend it works i tested. even flux got like 20-30% speed increase

i guess we have to do that for sage attention

no you don't have to install separately for that

no part of that issue is specific to swarm

but when i use the auto downloaded pre-made comfyui backend it fails as shown above
