it would be nice if there was a way it made temp checkpoints after each download, so if you have the file there was a way it could recognize it and skip the download next time it tries to install

I never used much else other than Swarm but others have said that it's faster. I have only known speed I guess 😂

well one thing that is still confusing me... i need to put three files into the dir. there is a model file the flux fp8, then a clip file the t5xxl_fp16.safetensors and the vae... do i make a ne folder called unet and put the flux model in there? what about the t5xxl_fp16.safetensors file? i am pretty sure the vae file goes in the vae folder. in the install there is a clip vision folder, but no clip folder... do i make a clip folder and put t5xxl_fp16.safetensors in there?

SWARM does most of the little stuff for you. If it's not on that Install for flux you don't have to do anything.

Long story short the dev quit his job at Stability AI and he took his project to his own repo.
So there should be an upgrade file in your stableswarmui folder
Let me see what ita called hold on
You just have to run that and it will upgrade you to the new git repo and you will be golden.
It's just 1 update file and then you update Swarm and you will be all good.

yeah the only models you cannot get through the downloader are ones on huggingface you have to agree before you download like FLUX dev
