In the game, using bats and balls on other contestants is supposed to hinder their progress. However, when I hit them, instead of being pushed backward (away from the finish line), they get pushed forward which often is helping them reach the finish line faster. This makes the weapons counterproductive.

Indeed. Sometimes I would get smacked with a bat in RLGL but it actually helped me most times.

This is fair. But it all comes down to strategy I suppose. Nonetheless, I’d love this but it may be difficult to realistically develop for the game.

Hitting players after the finish line is one of the best parts of this game imho lol

I’ve seen both… where you get knocked back if standing still (or forward depending on ball direction), and continuing to move forward when running forward. I think this is to make the game more realistic. After all a dodge ball isn’t going to stop you in your tracks and knock you back if you are running forward. I think they went with the ball stunning the player who still stumbles forward and then comes to a stop.
