@steep hollow the best feedback that I can give you, is about the poor performance this game has... It runs a poor 30 fps, capped, with drops and freezes, doesn't for the 60, and it doesn't go for the 120fps that it could run.... That makes up for all the maps ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€ gameplay wise and etc, it's bad, compared to what it could be...

Besides that, the new maps were badly made as heck, invisible walls problems, camera problems, but it was fun, new theme, new routes, etc etc, it has it's own style that I kinda like, but the featuring time made it a bit sickening, but I don't think the new maps itself it's a problem if the problems that it has gets fixed....

Which games are your favorite and why?
backyard buzz and lazy river, because i'm a dirty cheater, but the trampolines are just so much fun. i also like the falling tiles maps (dodgeball drop etc.), but i dread playing them because i know the payout is capped at $4000.

What would you like to see more of?
more trampolines ofc, a lazy river type map on the new longer camp theme would be nice

I like the longer races as finals compared to bumper run but I donโ€™t like the newer maps. It just feels kind of boring in comparison to the other race maps

I do kind of wish they had reformatted the other race maps and just made them longer while implementing new things (for example, the new bee stinger things)

Here is my feedback, after thousands of contests of Squid Game.

Lazy River is my favorite map and it's not even close. It's not simply that there's a huge element of skill involved with the trampolines (although there is), but the map is also highly dynamic with all of the moving trampolines. Most other race maps, you simply memorize the route and the timings, and you play the exact same route every single time without any deviation. Lazy River does have that too, but it's exceptionally difficult to land the perfect route (I've yet to do it, in fact), and you have to adjust any time you die or miss a single timing or even slightly deviate from the path.

Other favorites are Young-Hee's Revenge, Glass Bridge, Scary Go Round, Swimming Lessons, Swing Park, Downhill Roll, Towering Inferno, Lava Leap, Front Man Surprise, Snow Day, Ice Fort, Frosty Flood, and Park is Closing!

  • Young-Hee's Revenge: I like being able to jump over the spiked areas on red, and that the map has different song timings. This adds a pacing element where you need to plan your route effectively so that you can maximize the amount you can freely move on red.
  • Glass Bridge: I like that there's no trampolines and that the tiles are spaced apart. There's an element of skill in being able to test the tiles without falling, and risk as to whether you go in front (and die to missing a tile, or being hit by an item) or in the back (later finish, less chance to catch back up if you die).
  • Scary Go Round: You have the ability to trampoline onto the ledge (which Manic Mixer is missing), and to knock people off at the start (which reduces the advantage of Spud/Ace/Jackie), but without the frantic horses that will stunlock you at the worst time.
  • Swimming Lessons & Swing Park: I like the options presented by the trampolines at the start. You can go through the swing/grill areas with the trampolines and bunny hop, or you can do a much more difficult jump (or spend the extra trampoline bounce) going onto the wall. Tradeoffs for both.
  • Downhill Roll: I enjoy the double trampoline into the dalgona route, as well as the options available if you get a pogo.
  • Towering Inferno: This is a completely different game depending on who's playing and how long it lasts. There's bats available, so Ace/Spud/Jackie are still a threat. Fireworks are always terrifying on this one. You have the option to turtle on high ground for as long as possible with the breakable tiles, and that's a win condition. If you get to the end, you have to run in circles around the flame vents until the flames finally catch up to you, but there's also a strategy of trying to time your jump from a vent about to be on fire to a vent about to not be on fire. If you're successful, you buy yourself a lot more time. If you fail, you die. It makes for exciting finals between skilled players.
  • Lava Leap: Lots of options for avoiding other players with the trampolines, lots of skill with midair hits, finals can be a race to see who can get the first weapon, or shield/dalgona to survive longer. Hiding places on the two ducks if you get out far enough into the lava. Very dynamic map.
  • Snow Day/Ice Fort/Frosty Flood: I like that these are all geometry games that a skilled player can usually position correctly to survive on, or aerially recover from a snowball hit. To that end, I dislike that fireworks was added to Snow Day/Ice Fort and wish it was removed. I also wish that knife was re-added to Snow Day/Ice Fort as a rare spawn, as having to worry about whether other players were in melee range, and making Front Man slightly stronger, increased the skill cap of these maps.
  • Park is Closing!: I feel that this is the only new map that doesn't have strangely behaving trampoline mechanics or glitchy camera spins. I like the things added to it, and the general length of it, and that there's actually shoes that spawn on it.

What would I like to see more of?

I want more maps like Lazy River and Young-Hee's Revenge. Dizzy Dash could have been one of these, but the mechanics are completely broken for it. For example, you can't jump from the first small spinning bush to the first large spinning bush on red, but you can jump from the second small spinning bush to the second large spinning bush on red. Why?

I want to see characters and item boxes rebalanced. For example, Spud and Jackie have similar abilities, but Spud's ability always kills and Jackie's doesn't always kill (although it often does). Why do these have the same % chance? There are also many out-of-the-way item boxes that sometimes give useful items, but often don't, for example, Maze Race. There's a box on a platform by itself just past a boulder spawn, and that box gives dalgona/shoes/pogo/shield, maybe even weapons like dodgeball/bat. If I lose 3-4 seconds going to get it, I don't want to get a shield, I want to get something that's guaranteed to be useful like a dalgona or a shoes or a pogo.

I want to see less, or even no, fireworks. Or at the very least, reduce the stun duration on some of these items. If I'm holding onto a pogo on Lava Leap and get hit by a fireworks, I don't want to spend 5 seconds falling to my death, stunned the entire time, completely unable to use my pogo. Reduce stun durations across the board and let me use defensive items like pogo to recover back to the level.

I want more elimination maps, especially ones that aren't solely bat-focused or snowball-focused. What I want to avoid is maps where Spud/Ace/Jackie are a free win, or Emmi/Raja are a free win, but also where their abilities aren't useless. Towering Inferno is a perfect example (although Emmi/Raja do suffer on this one) because you can get a bat, but it's not focused around bats, but you also can get a dodgeball, or a pogo, or even a shield, and there's valid reasons for all of those items. Dodgeball can mess up someone's trampoline jump and kill them, or push them off one of the flame vents at the end. Bat can obviously kill. Shield can be useful for standing on a flame vent and buying yourself more time in the unofficial kill timer when you make it to the final clockwise race at the bottom. Pogo can do the same. There's also trampolines on this map to let you reposition effectively. It's a great map. It would be nice to have more elimination maps that multiple different character archetypes are good on, and not simply item-specific characters.

I want race maps where there's different routes with similar timings and reasons to take each route. I want characters that interact more with item boxes - maybe a character who always has a chance to get a knife from a box, or always has a chance to get a shoes, etc, something that makes maps more dynamic. I want more customization in terms of costumes - let me put an X or an O patch on my character, or change their hair, or something.

I want larger parties. I want the ability to play certain levels in private games by myself - why can't I practice Lazy River over and over in a private match? I want exact %'s on item abilities. What's the % on Legendary Chance? Who knows. What exactly does Diego's ability do? Who knows.

Feedback for specific games...

All of the Squid Game maps are specifically focused around bat characters. Reason being is that the only reasonable method to actually survive is to have a shield up and weapon, going against another character who doesn't have a shield up. So that means Jackie/Ace/Spud. Even Front Man, it's too risky to go against someone else when you don't have a shield, because if they pick up a shield you're toast, and if you drop your knife to try and pick up what may or may not be a shield yourself, then you've now given them the possibility of having shield + knife. So Squid Game is inherently a bit imbalanced towards bat characters.

Mingle is similar, except that Manic Mixer really makes only Spud particularly good, due to the walls at the start and the fact they require two hits to break. Knives are a bit more valuable in this due to their rarity, and that you're trapped in smaller spaces with people with a knife, as are fishing rods.

School Bus Dash/Downhill Roll/Maze Race specifically need some item boxes rebalanced.

All of the new "Get to the RV" maps really suffer from inconsistencies with how the trampolines work, and the uphill sections break the camera.

Bumper Run is a bit miserable as a final game, which would maybe be better if the other maze maps could spawn as final games as well, but they can't? But it really comes down to luck as to whether you get a shield/pogo or not.

I could provide lots of feedback for every single map, but that's a lot to go into - I'm willing to share more if the devs have interest in how to adjust any specific levels.

But yes I agree with the mechanics you can use in lazy river. It makes it such a fun map. Itโ€™s a good challenge timing wise which is why I enjoy getting it when I do. I still havenโ€™t figured it out 100% and itโ€™s been a few weeks

another thing regarding all games, when u die, but isn't fast enough to quit, u have to wait the whole another game to start, so you can quit... time waster, and at the ending U have to wait all that long animation and the piggy and etc, give us some skip button too

Negative points

  • Bots are sometimes stuck in some levels.
  • Bots can be either normal or dumber than a chair. The latter is a problem.
  • The new levels are badly designed (not interesting, too long, not much challenge, no randomness which makes levels fun)
  • The camera is completely broken on the new levels. Even the respawn process that makes you face backward.
  • Adding new levels which are worse than the previous ones makes the previous levels less likely to be played, so it's double punishment: You get to play more poorly designed levels and less good levels.
  • The last unlockable skins of each character feel lazy. Mid-progress skins are often better and more interesting than the last unlockable skins.
  • Upon losing the last round, it's faster to kill the game and relaunch it rather than waiting for all the animations to finish. At least, the UX feels faster.

Worst negative points

  • Bugs, bugs, bugs... You have the blocking black screen bug. You have the infuriating reverting item bug. You have the stuck in a party that you can never join bug. All three have been reported on the dedicated bug channel.
  • The knife can have an absolutely insane range, it doesn't make sense.
  • Pig mask skins are poorly designed. There are too similar and it is impossible to tell the difference between characters if they are not just in front of you. In a hero-ability based game, this is a red flag design.

Can do better points

  • Opening gift boxes one by one when you have a lot of money is exhausting. Make a "open a bunch of boxes" option.
  • No sound control during a contest. That's probably the first time I see a game with no volume option in-game.
  • Some characters are completely useless. The worst of all is Gi-hun because of how rare it became to find a dalgona (the new levels don't have any for example).

Good points to keep at all costs

  • Possibility to do trick jumps.
  • Some levels have "secrets" that are accessible with trick jumps.

and I feel like for we to concentrate more or the maps and quality etc, we have to get rid of the ''infuriating'' things, like the item bug that is still not fixed, how is that not fixed yet... and the fps, 30 is lame, and it stutters/freezes/ drops below 30/ shouldn't be like that at all... aiming not being precise when the enemy is close to you, or not precise at all... and also the ''red target'' thing is cool but still not precise sometimes, but adding more stuff seems also good anyways (like skins, maps, features like the red target etc, events), but the major stuff gotta go resolved... getting stuck forever on air dashing... camera not having sensitivity settings, the graphic quality settings on the game doing nothing but letting the game ugly or not as bad, cameras not turning to the finish line after u die (ppl run to the beginning of the map sometimes, this is no joke.....), camera moving alone (I want to move my own camera alone, I don't need that help at all, it just makes it worst), camera stuck on the new maps etc etc etc
