Hey everyone,

I've been experiencing a weird bug and I'm not sure if it's a game issue or something on my end (PC/mouse).

Basically, anything that involves the mouse scroll wheel or certain inputs seems to get cancelled or not register properly:
Weapon switching: When I use the scroll wheel to switch weapons, it often doesn't go through. I have to scroll multiple times before it actually switches.
Interactions: When I try to interact with something, the interaction gets cancelled mid-way.
Jumping: My jumps keep getting cut short I do a tiny hop instead of a full jump. If I spam the jump button, roughly 1 out of 5 times I get this bug.

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Okay. Double check your input drivers and see if that works. If not, you may have to check the CPU, and double check if the BIOS is up to date. If the game is still running but the inputs aren’t registering or are sporadic, it’s likely that the inputs are the ones causing the issues. Worst case scenario is the USB ports are going bad and the motherboard or the CPU needs to be replaced.

Pathogen was my first main, nitro and kismet are also fairly good to start out with because their kits are pretty solid. Kismets is just slightly more advanced imo especially to know when to go in and out of her invisibility

The best advice I have for long que times is after 10 minutes to back out and requeue and also to switch servers. Sometimes the NA servers are still active rn. You will just have to fight ping a little bit, but I never had a huge issue with high ping. Sometimes it saves me.

Yeah there is a possibility of getting a reimbursement for ranked points however like slay has said it’s not certain in all honestly you can make up these points just by playing again I tend to not cling to my Ranked Points too much so you best bet is just try and work with game support and get this issue fixed so it dosent happen again

Double check your gamma settings in both Windows and in the NVidia app. More than likely, one of those has the settings on too high, hence why the colors are washed out here.

For background, I used to work for a GPU company's tech support.

Likely, you have digital vibrance turned up. Please open nVidia control panel > Adjust desktop color settings > Lower digital vibrance (50% is default). If this doesn't work, feel free to reach out to me and I can troubleshoot it with you.

Sometimes, nVidia does change some settings in the control panel on accident when they ship out a GPU driver update (It has happened before and it was a nightmare for people and people thought their cards were dying).

i loaded on to fragpunk, took about 2 minutes to load from steam, took me about 2 minutes to load from ranked loading screen, then after in the game the card screen barely loaded up, and i wasn't even in the game for about 2 and a half rounds, and then it kicked me out saying network error

i have 500mbps connectivity currently and usually get 1gbps

my sata storage was maxed out to 100% usage, and so was my ram to 95%, as soon as i got kicked out of the game it went to 3% sata usage but on reconnect it fixed but nearly cost the entire ranked game

sometimes yes it takes me about a minute to load in and load the textures in game but never this bad

and even though i reconnected 2 rounds in i still lost 50

it says i abandoned the match

Hi, I need assistance unlinking my Steam account from NetEase.

When I launched FragPunk on Steam for the first time, a new NetEase account was automatically created and linked to my Steam profile. However, this is not my main account. I previously played on other platforms (Console/Epic Games) and I want to link my original progress to Steam.

Hello, can I appeal my account ban for supposedly using cheats? I was not banned by an anti-cheat or anything else — there was no actual cheat detection. Someone just left a report on me in a match where I played well (more or less), and that report was reviewed, after which they made a decision that it was cheating. I don't fully understand how any additional verification of that decision happens afterwards, but in the end my account was banned for more than 3,000 days. I have donated quite a lot to my account, and the account is already quite old. I really want to try to do something about my ban. I feel very sorry for my account — I have already played over 1,400 hours on Steam. The account is, in principle, "stacked" — I always bought the best packs without exception. I have already emailed the developers themselves and submitted feedback on the website, but I don't know what will happen because they haven't even replied to me within 24 hours. when u choose "auto" for the servers when u queue, is there a limit to what servers it will search for matches or a limit on how high your ping could be? I've found queueing auto doesn't find matches easily but if I queue specific servers I get them faster depending on what server it is.

he "Aimbot" you might be seeing might be the actual bots that sometimes appear in unranked games. Please also keep in mind that Aim assist is also present for console players. Even if you see aimbot on the other team, you should take it as a challenge.

Respectfully, you should change your mindset. Take everything as a challenge and not as "Oh they left, there isn't a point to playing". FragPunk does, on occasion, replace players who have left in unranked. Change your mindset a little and try to figure out ways to play around your disadvantage. I do the same thing with stream sniping. I change my playstyle to advantage myself when people stream snipe.

Replacing players who leave is also bad because I've been put into a match where it was 0 / 3 and there is no point in playing that because that loss goes on your permanent record

Aim assist is one thing, snapping to people through walls on killcam, and violently unsnapping immediately after death is another

I've played against people with "assist" and it isn't good. But when people snap to you and kill you with what seems like a single shot with an AR it is odd

And usually I'm at the top of the leaderboard, I know when someone is cheating vs assist. I have been in the software and hardware industry for almost 4 decades

And I have tried staying in games with cheaters, it just isn't enjoyable and it doesn't help the rank it never goes up

Honestly, if you give me a single match code, I can break it down for you and review it. My guess would be audio. I've played fps games since CS Source and I literally track people through walls using audio. This isn't uncommon. I will look through a wall at the direction of a footstep to position where they are.

Multiple people have given responses and reiterating my last response, it seems like you need a mindset change and aren't really looking for a solution, but rather are just complaining, which is fine to an extent.

Again, if you can supply me with a match code (or multiple), I would gladly do a VOD review of the match. But as far as a solution to your problem, if you're in rank e, there's a good reason for it and one of those is leaving games constantly. I have played countless hours of this game and only encountered a cheater once. Although there are cheaters in every game, this game genuinely has very few from what I have personally experienced and seen. The rank will not go up instantly. It is also based on other factors including communication in either text or voice, as well as the like system at the end of matches. If you're enjoyable to play with or against, your rank will go up.

Ah…that is something within the engine itself. It’s called Bug Splat and it creates a file that has everything that caused the crash to begin with. The best thing you can do is to send that report and be as detailed as possible about what happened before, during and after the crash. You can still try to verify your files through Steam, too, as that usually clears it up, or reinstalling the game.

During the protection period if you play a game and lose you will not lose any ranked points (rp). If you are below diamond during the time period you get 3 games of protection, if you are diamond or above you only get one match protected. I believe that the protection is applied based on when the game is found/started so if a game is found lets say 1-2m before the period ends the protection should likely apply to the match

-Run an SFC scan. To do this, run the Terminal as an administrator and type this in:

In the BIOS, there's a setting called PBO. It stands for Precision Boost Overdrive, which overclocks your CPU, among other things. If that is enabled, disable it by choosing Normal in the Easy Mode in the BIOS.

It's also important to note that you also may not have the latest chipset drivers installed. If you go on your motherboard's support website, there should be a download for the latest chipset drivers, which does impact the CPU. The latest chipset drivers is 8.02.18.557, according to AMD.

You can also install that using the AMD Radeon software. The latest version is 26.5.1 and it's available on the AMD site.

I would go to whichever one is the next ping- EU and NA are more active. You will have a better chance. To do that you will click on the list of game modes and then in the corner there will be a button for servers.

As long as the ping is under 140 you should be fine.

There’s also an update to Radeon that was released earlier this week. The latest version should be 26.5.2. Double check the app and make sure there’s an update to the queue. It should be located on the top right of the home page in the app.

I’m also on an AMD GPU (RX 9070 XT), so it might be related to AMD drivers or DX12 compatibility.

they googled their gpu update, then goes to amd website, then under new updates it simply says previous versions and selected windows 11 ( this is all i understand) ( im just the messanger) previous tip of rolling back helped lol
