lowkey kinda weird, i feel like it should at least have some leeway (+/-20%) because you won't always have the quota of a skin price, as those vary in numbers compared to the purchasable amounts divisible by 2, for example if you buy the 35$ pack which gives you 3675 coins, you can not even gift 2x 968fp weapon skins because the limit is that strict. unless you spend a lot on the game and drive up your quota through personal purchases, then it won't ever be a issue ig

Then make it so once you kick someone, you still get point reduction because it was that team’s choice to play without that player. The main issue would be what would happen to the kicked player, they shouldn’t be punished for being kicked by teammates but then again, if they don’t get reductions that can be abused to bypass/skip “bad” rounds

If possible, please report this invalid block to the router manufacturer, so the issue can be solved for everyone else as well.

That's what should've been done from the start for the Eero issue but apparently it went on for months without anybody reporting it, so since I was sick of so many people getting shut out of playing, I got my hands on an eero router and did some thorough testing to figure out the root cause of the issue (I made a youtube video with more details if anyone cares) and reported the issue to eero to get them to fix it.

Basically what happens is some router companies try to add extra optional features like ad blocking or "malware" blocking, but they get their list of websites/URLs to block from another company, who often brag about using AI to generate their block lists. This actually causes way more issues than it actually solves, including slowing down your internet response times since it has to route your DNS requests back to their website first, to check if it wants to block it. It also regularly blocks huge legitimate websites (you can find tons of complaints in forums, including examples of websites like google, disney, other games, and the PlayStation store being blocked over the years).

To go into a little more detail, the address I found being blocked was ALIYUNCSSLBINTL dot com (and all subdomains) which is a load balancing server, being used for the login process. It's a shared server for tons of sites/processes. It was incredibly stupid to block this URL because that's like blocking entire AWS or cloudflare servers instead of specific websites or files. So the people making these block lists need to be told to stop breaking things and fix their junk.

Nearly every time I've seen someone get the Network Error, it's been an issue the router is causing, by blocking things it shouldn't be blocking. It has nothing to do with the game, and thus the game devs can't fix it cuz it's not their bug, it's a router bug.

(More specifically it's a bug in an optional feature on the router that should be turned off anyways because no matter how much they try to scare you into thinking you're not secure without their extra "advanced security", you are. It's not a feature that's even common on routers, and the manufacturers even tell you on their website that you're perfectly secure without it (I can show you the official page where Eero tells you this for example).

If you can bypass your router (for example plugging straight into your modem or trying a cellular hotspot when the wifi router is powered off, or by using a VPN), then you can prove it's a router issue. Please send a complaint to your router manufacturer so they can fix it for everyone. In the meantime you can look in the router settings and see if there's parental controls or some kind of advanced security/filter you can turn off.

I’m not seeing any recent changes with either your CPU or GPU drivers that could cause the crash. The most recent firmware for that chipset was October 2025, so doublecheck to see if you have that specific firmware. You can try to see what DXDiag says is the issues, but I would assume there’s a pending .Net framework update that is stuck in queue. Double check your Windows Update and see if there’s not only one there, but the optional updates as well.

I’ve played so much both on release and afterwards it’s crazy how I’m apparently not done yet. Idk if it’s only the actual round that counts, if prep time counts just look for a level that’s easy + long wait times between to maximize time in game. If prep phase doesn’t count (idk if it does), play levels with long rounds and delay them as long as possible, don’t kill stuff instantly (I think that’s the issue most people have, they just kill everything the moment they come out of the gate, minimizing the time spent in game) use chomper to further delay time.

You can look at the sticker on the bottom of your (wifi) router. It should have a brand and model, like Netgear WRT54G or something.

Interesting. If you can log in while using a VPN then something is blocking the connection when you aren't running the VPN.

If you've tried two different routers (and made sure any parental controls or extra optional filters are disabled) then it may be a filter/block coming from your modem/ISP.

Some ISPs may have optional filters or firewalls enabled in the modem settings or in your online internet account settings.

If not a specific filter, then it may just be done through their DNS, so you could try changing the DNS on the modem to 1.1.1.1 and/or 8.8.8.8

Since you said you tried using mobile data separate from your ISP and still had the issue, the issue may be on your computer (I'm assuming you're playing on PC).
Firstly I would make sure you turn off your router & modem before trying with your mobile data hotspot because some phones actually just share their local wifi internet connection instead of their mobile data when you make a hotspot.
If you see the same issue, then it's likely an issue with your computer. Ensure you don't have any third party antivirus or firewall or security software. Then you can also try changing the DNS on your computer (once again to 1.1.1.1 and/or 8.8.8.8).

Hopefully somewhere in there you found what was blocking the connection, because the majority of players aren't having issues, and since a VPN solves the issue, it's almost certainly not an issue coming from the game.

Oh wow that's weird. Thanks for the update. I wonder what the issue was. I think sometimes consoles have an issue connecting but I've seen a different error message if it's an issue with the game or the console or the installation.

Ya after watching people complain about eero issues for like a month, I started bugging eero to fix their junk (after spending a few days researching exactly what the issue was). They tested the game and came to the same conclusion as me that it was an invalid DNS block coming from their optional (and useless) "advanced security" filter, which uses a block list from a third party. Eero sent a change request to their third party filter list provider and after a couple weeks it was fixed. (It was pretty surprising to me that nobody else tried reporting that issue to eero. Any one of the people who had the issue could've easily done so...)

Well, if it’s something that is persistent but not readily replicated, it could take a while. The devs have to test, bug fix, test again, and repeat until the patch fixes it. Since this is not a widespread issue, it could be that the devs don’t have enough information to properly patch it (or even where in the code to look if the game’s bug is not easily replicated in a test environment).

Well I use default setting for one thing I can say is go into the training mode or a standard match and utilise them as a way to figure out what DPI setting you want for your mouse

You can login through the website (thanks bot) and then bind your console and steam account. I recommend signing in with your console account and then linking your steam in the connections tab through that to make sure it won’t link wrongly
