I changed my dx from dx11 to dx12 just to see how it would impact my preformance but now the game won't launch. Does anyone have any work arounds or fixes? Running as admin from the exe file doesn't work and neither did reinstalling the game. My cpu apparently has avx2 support but it's automatically on in the chip so it doesn't have a setting for it in bios (Which I updated). I've used the advanced launch option "-dx11" on steam but it didn't work, and it seems the config files in appdata are encrypted so there's no way for me to change the dx setting from in game files..

I'm not sure which settings exactly would affect that. Maybe also try verifying the game files in steam just to be safe.
I have my video settings on default (nvidia usually matches my settings to the capabilities of my card automatically), so feel free to try matching my settings and see if anything looks better. (They're mostly on Medium, so I'm sure you could make it look better by going higher, but you can use this as a starting point)
You could also try clicking the Reset button on the bottom right to reset them to default if you haven't already.
Also make sure that your Display Resolution matches your current and maximum monitor resolution.

Asking here in hopes I get an answer to my issue: I'm playing from EU, I make sure I select EU servers before I queue up and even then, sometimes I get 130-140 ping, it's random, don't know why, should be 40-50 ping according to server selection screen, and that's kinda accurate, it's around 40 in every game.

• Yes, I'm using wired connection
• No, it doesn't happen in any other game
• No, I don't see a pattern

Also I looked up GearUP that they suggest in the ingame system message I got, the link is broken, can't even download it even if I wanted to (I don't want a third party software to fix my ping, my ping is good enough, I just wanna get rid of the random 130-140 ping games...)

I'm having the same problem. During my first game, the connection ping goes from 126 to 150 for the first 15 seconds, then returns to normal immediately. From the second game onward, the game simply lags at 246/252 ping, making it impossible to play for the rest of the evening. There are no frame rate issues, and the server I'm using is the correct one. It's also the only game that gives me this problem, so it's not a connection issue, but a server issue (EU in my case).

If you've already tried verifying files, uninstalling/reinstalling, changing all video settings, and installing it from a different storefront, then maybe it's an issue with your graphics driver or something. You could try updating to the latest graphic driver for your system or rolling back to a previous one. Note: I'm not a dev or official support so idk what the real answer is, I'm just trying to offer some ideas. (At least it's not a bug that affects gameplay but just a visual effect.)

Oh so the issue was mismatched resolution and it's fixed now? Great to hear. Haha if the fps dropped, you can probably pick some up by lowering some graphic settings and enabling stuff like nvidia DLSS (if your system supports it).
There's also a button on the video screen named something like Benchmark to try to analyze the capabilities of your system and potentially set the config at a good balance, but that may have been how you got to 720 in the first place, so if you want 1080 you might need to try some manual settings changes.

Did you figure out the answer to this? FYI I think the end of a "day" (aka the server reset time) is 9pm Pacific time.
I don't remember specifically but I feel like it says "1 day" if there's at least 1 day left, and when it's less than 24 hours it switches the display to show hours left. But if you were checking and could confirm that, it may help out others in the future.

Hi, just checking in if installing on epic got it working for you. If not, I just wanted to double check your steam launch options. You didn't include the quotes in "-dx11" did you?
I tried finding a list of launch options for the game and didn't find one but did see -dx11 listed on a couple sites so I'm assuming it works. I can probably try testing it later if you still need help.
I also remember I think a specific nvidia driver that had an issue with directx 12 so you could also maybe try updating or rolling back your graphic driver.

I just checked their profile, and it seems like 75% of their games are just full on bot lobbies where they just (obviously) top frag. So he probably is playing fair, but somehow stat boosting with bot lobbies (dk how they're consistently loading into them though), their performance against other real players also looks pretty normal and not suspicious, but then again, didn't watch a replay

they also play a lot of gear up where kd is somewhat easier to maintain due to higher round counts and economy

Twitch drops expire after a certain period of time my friend, I can't recall the exact timeframe, it could be 3 months maybe more maybe less. Regardless, you should look up FragPunk twitch drops page, link your Xbox/steam/epic/playstation account and then claim your drops in twitch. Launch the game, check your in game mail at the bottom right corner, see if they're there. If not, they might have expired. But, as I replied to you in main chat, you can still try your luck with #game-support

UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS 6.IF IT PERSIST GO TO YOUR LOCAL PC REPAIR STORE AND ASK THEM FOR A COMPLETE CLEAN-UP INSIDE AND OUT+ NEW SYSTEM + FULL PC WIPE (And after that install only what you use like: steam + games you play, mouse/keyboard software if you have gaming periferics. stop installing and getting useless stuff in your pc)

to let you know, the only things i have installed are the games you see above+ obs and Razer software cause all my periferics are Razer and ofc discord. Got the pc brand new and im planning to keep it this way. no need being loaded with useless stuff

one more tip to give you after you use your software to configure your mice/keyboard/headsets etc, close it. you dont need the program to run on the background cause settings will remain anyways also I cannot stress enough about this: KEEP YOUR PC CLEAN in all sorts of ways especially from useless games/programs etc. Hope it helps you

It's a bit weird that other games run fine, but FragPunk doesn't, which does remove the speculation on parts. I also have to disagree with MasterDebater on the 1st, 2nd points. Keep your games and programs... they do not cause this issue... I have a rig of approx 500 euros and it's loaded with stuff (Programs I don't use, games I do/don't play, etc). Works just as brand new. Yes. I know. I have tested this thing multiple times -_-. (Fresh install, loaded it up with stuff, yip yap.)

Something that could cause memory spike and lag, could be browsers with many tabs, high-demand software, and background processes, as well as malware, outdated drivers, or operating system issues.

Worst comes to worst - memory leak.
Hidden processes also eat up ram. I'd bet it's that.

I have heard at least a handful of people say they were banned without cheating. I'm not sure if it's based on reports or some piece of software on your computer. One person theorized that it may be possible that a certain brand of mouse software may get flagged cuz of its features (macros maybe?) but I'm not sure. The membership page should give you the info. You get FP coins from daily logins, i think up to 15 times in a month (and the membership page will say how many daily rewards you have left).
You also get membership credits for the exclusive membership gun skins. You get these once per month (i think 10 credits per month), but if you buy the annual membership you get some extra upfront as well (like at least 30 I think).

The first video shows me not being able to move any customization items around on my blaster (Specifically the Deep Sea Predator weapon skin). The 2nd video shows I can move it around on the other Deep Sea Predator weapons skins for the utility pistols. Only one person can help out one another throughout the whole tournament. Meaning if you ask for help for that one person they can’t help anybody else.

No, as far as I know, u dont loose these, and knifes are always available to withdraw once You reach 1000 points.

As anyone else had this problem / knows how to fix it? Whenever I play frag by myself theres no lag and it runs pretty smoothly however whenever I join a friends party suddenly my game gets crazy laggy to the point I can't play. I've made sure to have my gaming pc in high performance mode, my internet is fine, i've lowered all the in game graphics etc, i've made sure to connect to my local server whenever I start a match, i've deleted mcafee. Then I am confused. From what I understand the event is. You can help a person one time. But this event should be allowing you to help anyone 1 time. Hence why it says it can be use with 'no max' according to the game. Person A can help person B 1 time. but person A should be able to help person C, D, E , F. Ect.

See, thats what i think the issue is. There is no way it should be "You can only help 1 person" in the entire event. Otherwise, every account of this round will most likely be no longer to help. Making that option useless. Its too limited. Defeats the purpose. This is wild, and I cant believe its proving to be this negatively impacted man.

The first time I got help they got on their alt acct and we played until they reached lvl 8 and eventually they showed on the list in the event to ask him for help. For a while we thought it was 7.. I wish I could help, hopefully you find the problem!

Hey y'all, dunno if this is a bug or a feature of Deck Gear Up: recently had a game where my fully charged melee attacks only did a max of 85 damage. However, as far as I know, damage numbers for melee in that game mode seem to be the same (unlike gun damage, as stated in the details of the mode). I reviewed my replays to confirm what possible buffs the enemies may have had that would have caused this, but saw nothing that would explain why. Anyone got an explanation or this a bug that needs reporting?
