Unfortunately, this is still an ongoing issue. As far as we know, the team is working on resolving the connectivity problems. I’ve seen some Xbox players reporting similar issues as well, so it’s likely not specific to PS5.

It's best just to uninstall the biggest things you're not using and optimize your system as well as delete videos to clear up space and data, that's what i'm always doing.

Always uninstall the biggest games you're not playing next or atm then install them a day ahead of time when returning.

Trojan.MalPack is a general classification for a file that’s packed (compressed or encrypted) in a way that's commonly used by malware to avoid detection It doesn’t necessarily mean FragPunk is infected though... it might be a false positive

i wouldn't "restore file" yet, i would either reinstall or verify game files through steam

and if it appears again after verifying or reinstallation i would report it to FragPunk official email which from what i can see you've already done

it’s probably a false positive The game uses anti cheat and some backend stuff that can look shady to security tools, even if it’s safe a lot of the times

If you want to play, you can allow it through your antivirus but do that at your own risk it's nothing official, just what some of us had to do to get it running

but in any case always double check if you’re unsure

Hi boys,

Since the last update, I have fps drops and microstutters. Instead of stable 300-450 fps I usually get, it now drops to 150 for a sec, causing stutters.

I'm on RTX 4090 (latest Nvidia drivers), i7 12700K CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM.

So far, I tried the following to fix it:

• Adjusting in-game video settings: no effect, even with lowest settings I get FPS drops.
• Tried different video driver versions
• Switching DX11/DX12 in-game
• Setting low priority for NeacProtect

Nothing helps, unfortunately.

Maybe someone experienced the same and found a fix? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Btw, in all other games / software, the experience is fine and I don't think it's the hardware issue.

Most programs are downloaded to prevent certain aspects of its code from running natively through Linux and has to be emulated. You can change the state to instead run that part of the code natively through Linux distros instead. To change it:
-In Terminal, type in gksu nautilus and press enter.
-Navigate to the .dll location’s folder, right click on the .dll file, select Properties, then choose Permissions tab.
-Under Owner, change to Create And Delete Files (this allows you, not the program, to delete the folder and the files along with it). Under Group, set it to Access File, and under Folder Access, change it to Access File. Make sure that the “Allow executing file as program” is checked.
-Click on close, then try to run the game again.

Is it possible that you have mouse acceleration enabled? Although I doubt that alone would cause your sensitivity to change. I recommend manually setting and locking your mouse DPI; it's possible you're switching between different DPI profiles without realizing it..

As far as I know, there’s no in-game setting that would cause your mouse sensitivity to change mid-game. If I had to take a guess, I'd say you might be accidentally switching between different DPI profiles

For example, my mouse has three different DPI profiles that I can switch between using a button. Sometimes, I accidentally press that button without realizing it, which changes the DPI and makes the sensitivity feel different

But also try:

Go to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Uncheck "Enhance pointer precision"

Really no noticeable difference in performance compared to the previous tests after updating to the May 2025 update to Windows. My guess is its an emulator problem.

Just sent the problem up to the developers. More than likely, it's an emulation issue where the game is running abnormally high in the CPU that doesn't reflect what the benchmark tests conclude.

Ah...that's what I was afraid of. Your CPU doesn't have the AVX2 instruction set. That was introduced in the next generation of Intel CPUs. The only thing I can recommend is to upgrade your CPU to an Intel 4th generation CPU and up. You can get a secondhand 4th Gen Intel CPU for around $25 (that's here in the US, but I'm not sure about elsewhere in the world).

Yep. You'll need Intel's SDE and a chonky PSU in order to emulate AVX to AVX2 instruction sets. If you want to upgrade for not a whole lot of money, you can get a I7-5930K. Same chipset and socket as the I7-4960k, but you do lose a bit of turbo frequency (3.7GHz instead of 4.0GHz). Secondhand CPUs for that should cost anywhere between $30 to $50.

This network error happens on Eero routers because they have an optional paid feature called "Advanced Security" that other routers don't have, where they block URLs at the DNS level. The problem is they use AI to form these rules and they're regularly wrong. In this case they're accidentally blocking every load balancing server from a massive webhost. I would recommend contacting Eero support so they can fix their issue. But an easy solution is to get the Eero app and turn off their broken optional features "Ad Blocking" and "Advanced Security". They have an official page saying you're perfectly safe without them. I can answer any other questions you might have. I even made a video going into more detail and showing how to apply a few different solutions. I can't post links here but I posted it in general-videos maybe a week or so ago.

Hello, I don’t know if it’s the right channel for this question. Is there any way to disable the automatic refusal of shard sharing when someone requests it at the beginning of a round? I’m new to the game and often get matched with premade groups while playing solo. While I’m reading the cards, I usually miss the pop-up to decline the shard sharing request, which means I can’t use my shards myself in about one out of every three rounds.

Nope, works fine on everything else, the thing is like, in fragpunk, the mouse only moves if i move it a lot, raising sensitivity didn't help, like, on low senstivity i need to move the mouse a lot for it to start moving my aim, and then it moves slowly and if i start moving the mouse slowly after it started moving, it stops, making the sensitivity higher doesn't make the aim start moving ealier, jsut makes movement faster, but it stops all the same

it moves fine on the ingame menus too, it's just on actual gameplay that this happens

There is a Radeon update that was released just a couple of hours ago. Try that, but I would run a HWID and if it actually shows either a 2GB RX580, then adjust the voltage and fan curve accordingly. More than likely, it’s a desync issue between the GPU, monitor or motherboard issue (bet is on the GPU).

I think you can do a bug report in game if you press Esc and click feedback or support or something. I remember there was a place to enter the match and time it happened (you can see your match history if you click on your username in game if needed)

I did a deep dive into why this network/server error is happening ("Network Error. Unable to connect to server") and a few workarounds/solutions a few weeks ago (on my youtube if anyone wants to see how to solve this error).
I've sent Eero support a couple emails about it with no reply.
Last saturday I called Eero support to try to get them to fix their issue (btw this is not an issue with the game, it is 100% an issue Eero is causing, so they need to fix it). They said they would escalate it to the Eero+ team but for now we can disable what they call "Advanced Security" to play (it's an optional feature not on other routers that they invented to try to get people to pay them monthly, and regularly has issues. They have an official page on their site saying you're perfectly safe without it so turning it off is no issue.).
I just called them back since it's been 6 days, and they said it's already been escalated to tier 3 support and they need some more time to work on it. I gave them some more info to try to help them out but I'm still waiting on their response.

Once again there are multiple options for solutions to this issue currently. You can choose one:

• Use the guest network
• Disable "Advanced Security" (optional unneeded feature that they officially say you're still secure without)
• Add the URL to the eero "Allow" list (I can't post urls here but it's in my video)
• If you're on PC you can use a VPN for now
• You can use a different router or add a router or access point to your network before the eero

I have heard people suggest that if you queue for more than 5 minutes, try requeing. For some reason that's helped a number of people get matches, we're not sure if it's just a coincidence or not though.
It also depends on time of day I'm sure. I usually queue late night.
Also you could try setting your server to Auto, or try picking specific servers (your closest or maybe other potentially more populated ones at different times).

Well some users said that it's not an issue but we as the mod team are advised to not recommend this method to our users as it is not an official fix and you would be sacrificing your privacy and security and in my opinion no game is worth that price but in the event that you had Eero router, you'd have to turn off your privacy settings my friend because Eero filters out fragpunk when you launch it so you'll never be able to get in a game unless you change those settings or eero eventually whitelists NetEase or whatever it is in FragPunk that is blacklisted and caught by filters

Hi bobby, it's not a jailbreak and it's not the fault of the game. Eero is accidentally blocking entire load balancing servers (which host more than just fragpunk) likely because Eero is forming block rules based on AI (which often has flawed logic). They've had many issues with this in the past, blocking other games and websites. You can find many threads online about this and the typical solution is to disable their flawed Eero+ features. Eero themselves have an official page on their site saying you're still perfectly safe without their optional paid feature they invented which they try to call "Advanced Security". It's just a DNS based blocker and not a standard feature on any other routers. You can check my linked comment above for more info and a solution for now. Let me know if you have any other questions

I need someone that's good with Fragpunk tech to help me with sudden inconsistent frames and performance dropping.

Thing is as follows: As soon as i start up the game, everything is working perfectly, my recommended settings are working fine and dandy, everything else related is smooch and without any issues.

However, as soon as a certain time period passes, my performance drops to unplayable levels, we are talking freeze framing, movement tp's at most 40 FPS, insane lag on card chooses, loading and everything related, it COULD be my monitor issue but i run my laptop with AMD Ryzen 7, 4090 GTX, 32 Gigs of RAM so it shouldn't be much of a problem especially since this issue only is on Fragpunk, i play ranked a lot and it's kinda frustrating to play ONLY half of the match normally. Anyone have any clues what could be wrong?

It sounds like your computer is thermal throttling. Double check the temps on the GPU and CPU, then if the temps are way too high, adjust the fan curve of either/both.

Since it only happens after a bit of time and only in Fragpunk, it could be something like overheating, a memory leak, or background apps kicking in. I’d check your temps using something like HWMonitor to make sure your CPU/GPU aren’t throttling, and take a look at Task Manager when the lag starts to see if anything weird is using up resources. Also try capping your FPS — some games act up when uncapped on high-end systems. If none of that helps, try verifying the game files or reinstalling Fragpunk. Could be something on the game’s end too.

IT here, to make sure this isn’t server related, try restarting your router and PC, and use a wired connection if you can. You can also switch your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) to help with connection issues. Close any apps using the internet in the background, update your network drivers, and verify the game files just in case something’s messed up. If nothing works, try using mobile data or another device to submit a ticket, or hit them up on Discord or Twitter for faster help.

This isn't official fix from Netease, but here are some steps you can try (at your own risk/discretion)

Try a VPN
Sometimes your ISP has a bad route to Fragpunk's servers. Try using a VPN and connect to a server near your region.
If your ping improves, then it’s likely a routing issue between your ISP and the game servers.

Change Your DNS
Set your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). It’s a simple change that can sometimes help with connection stability.

Check Firewall / Antivirus / Router Settings
Make sure Fragpunk isn’t being blocked or limited by your firewall, antivirus, or your router’s QoS settings. Also, try closing background apps while running the game.

Switch to Ethernet (if you're on Wi-Fi)
Wi-Fi can spike ping in any game. If possible, try a wired connection to eliminate local interference.

Run a Traceroute Test
Open Command Prompt and run: tracert fragpunk.com or whatever the game’s server IP/URL is if you know it
