They changed my name but dont recall what it was. Ive spent money on it and would like any help i can get. I had that happen to me last year. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do other than contact your email provider, Discord support and game support.
For future reference, always check any URL for any suspicious activity, and vet anyone in DMs or close them entirely.

Windows will not go past the native resolution of your monitor without activating it first. For the game, that would be in the main menu in Settings > Video.

I think so. I’ve seen this error pop up and it has something to do with ESET not allowing some files in FragPunk, as it flags it as malicious. It’s best to use Windows Antivirus for now until a fix is in place.

I’d doubt it. In an HDD, the read is pulling data from the hard drive to the operating system. Write is the reverse of that.

Simply hit resume, then point the install file from Steam to the folder. You may have to delete the other game's files in the other drive, as it won't look at them anymore.

On Steam, go to Library, then right click on FragPunk and click on Manage then Browse Local Files. If the .exe and all of the game's files are there, then that's the root folder Steam is pointing at for launching the game. If there are files missing from there, the game will not launch and will need to be re-downloaded in the folder or drive you want Steam to point to.

I got it working!!!! I have no idea how i fixed it, but I can explain what I did; I allowed it to reach the "Unable to Locate Files" error, I went to settings and cleared my cache and then opened steam back up, and lastly resumed the download.

Is there a way to participate in the card voting event if I’m playing on Xbox? I went on my PC which was logged with my Steam account but I never played on PC and couldn’t find a bind account for Xbox, so I logged off to see if I could login with another platform. Perhaps it is related to your NAT setting (been a long time I haven’t heard about this, but when I used to play on Xbox One, I had problem with my NAT setting on my wi-fi router, and it would block me from playing some online games)

Actually it's not possible to manage router settings through the router ip address webpage with an eero. You can with basically every other router. It's one of many issues people have with eero.

If you can't turn off eero "Advanced Security" (which is very flawed and eero themselves have a page on their site saying you're still safe and secure with it turned off), you still have a couple options.

1. You can enable the guest network and use that.
2. You can add a URL to the "Allowed" list. Eero doesn't tell you what URLs they're blocking so I had to use a network inspector to find the url you can allow is aliyuncsslbintl (.com) (I'm not sure if my message will get deleted if I type it normally since links aren't allowed).
3. If you're on PC you can use a VPN for now until eero fixes their junk.
   If you have this network/server error issue and have an eero, please contact eero support and tell them to fix their broken blocker rules (include the whitelist url that I found).
   I posted a video in general-videos a few days ago if you want to see exactly how to do any of these, and if you want any more info.

I found a fix for eero router it’s worked for a bunch of people

I'm not sure if the "Login timed out" is the same issue, but Network Error is typically either an internet connection issue or your router blocking the connection.
If you have an Eero router,

1. Get the app and log in (you can create an account or login with your amazon account if you bought it there).
2. Scroll to the bottom of the home page under Security & Privacy tap Advanced Security
3. Tap Network Controls
4. Disable Advanced Security and Ad Blocking (these are both flawed and block legitimate stuff and eero themselves say you're still safe and secure with them turned off)
   If you have this network/server error issue and have an eero, please contact eero support and tell them to fix their broken blocker rules (include the whitelist url that I found above).
   Once again you can check the vid i posted to general-videos to see exactly where in the app these items are and for more info and solutions.

And please try to get people to bug eero to fix the issue that's caused by them. (I get frustrated when people say the devs need to fix the issue eero is causing). They may need to include the URL i found though, for eero to know what to unblock. They apparently get their blocklists from Zscaler, which heavily advertises how much they use AI... which might be where these issues are coming from.

This didn't happen overnight and unfortunately this is not a NetEase problem as Eero themselves blocked access to a specific software NetEase uses. Hopefully this will get fixed but given my previous statement, when is a question we all would like to know.

Not very. Much of the antivirus and malware detection and removal is on the devices you use, like consoles and computers. EERO does this to add another protection layer to any device it connects to.

Eero themselves say you're still safe without their optional "Advanced Security" feature. This is not a standard security feature on routers, they just made something extra and called it something scary to try to get people to pay them an extra monthly fee to feel safe. They don't even make the blocklists themselves, they get it from a 3rd party company that relies on AI. They've had tons of flawed rules over the years, blocking all sorts of legitimate sites and games. You can find lots of forum posts of people complaining about other stuff being blocked over the years. People need to report this issue to Eero because they're the ones causing it. I reported it a couple weeks ago and they haven't bothered to respond. They may if more people report it.

If you're still concerned, I posted a video in general-videos a few days ago showing many examples of similar invalid blocks, also using a network analyzer to see which URL they're blocking (they're blocking an entire load balancing server from a major webhost, not just this game), and I show 3 different workarounds and give more info, including showing the official Eero page saying you don't need the feature.

If you wanna keep their bugged "Advanced Security" turned on, you can enable the guest network and use that.
You can alternatively add the URL to the "Allowed" list. Eero doesn't tell you what URLs they're blocking so I had to use a network inspector to find the url you can allow is aliyuncsslbintl (.com) (I'm not sure if my message will get deleted if I type it normally since no links are allowed here).
If you're on PC another alternative is to use a VPN for now until eero fixes their junk.
But the easiest solution is to just disable their dumb "Advanced Security" and "Ad Blocking:. I did it and haven't had any issues.
Feel free to check the vid i posted in general-videos to see how to change any of these settings, or ask me any questions.

Yeah, I noticed that from running both tests compared to the test I ran before that I had PCO turned off. Still, there are reports that Intel 12th gen Intel Core CPUs have been known to be unstable due to how it compiles shaders. My recommendation is to upgrade your BIOS (or EUFI) to the latest version, as that will have the instability fix retrofitted in it.

Well, depending on how fast the HDD's RPMs is, it may not be reading the data from the disc as fast. For example, a 7200RPM HDD will read much faster than a 6400RPM one. In any case, I'd suggest getting a 2.5" or a 3.5" SSD with a NAND flash controller installed in the near future. Those are pretty cheap nowadays and you can simply back up any data and use the HDD as a backup drive. Also, with HDDs, consistent defragging is a must, but not too consistent. Once a month should do the trick.

There was a driver update for NVidia cards that fixed a shader disc cache issue if the username contains unicode characters (weird bug...) so double check to make sure you have the latest version of the driver. It should be 576.52.

Let me start by saying I love this game. But what I’ve just gone through is unacceptable, Insulting, and frustrating at best.

On May 19, 2025, at 10:00 PM EST, I tried to link my main Steam account to my Epic Games account. Sounds simple, right? Apparently not for this game. Instead of giving me the basic, common-sense options every other cross-platform title uses:
-A login prompt where I could enter my credentials
-A browser redirect to link my existing account

What actually happened? The game automatically created a new account tied to my Epic Games profile—without asking with no option to Unbind or delete account. That’s not just bad UX, that’s a complete failure of system design.

So I used the in-game report tool to explain the problem.
No response.
The next day, I went digging for customer support contacts (which, by the way, should not be that hard to find but it was). I was able to find the mail only through this discord which should i remind that is also bad design?. I followed up the next day—again, nothing. At this point, it’s been a full week. Multiple emails. Multiple reports. Not even an automated reply. The silence is honestly baffling, outrageous. At this point, I don’t know if there’s a support team at all. If there is, they’re either completely unqualified, overwhelmed (which I truly don't believe they are as they are with NetEase Games), or just don’t care.

Yeah a few of us sent bug reports as early as April 30 regarding the inability to link Xbox to NetEase / Steam due to “local regulations.” Still no fix, and was told we would be notified IF it got fixed. if u do find a way and u try it but it doesn't works or has problems i will highly recommend you to try on finding someone that has programing knowledge with Linux and has free time, don't try to fix it your self as it is easy to break Linux as it is an open source operator system which makes it really volatid if u don;t know how to program (I would have helped you if had a much larger knowledge on Linux as i have basic IT knowledge with Linux and if I had time as I do know programing but i focus mainly on python and a bit of C# with Unity as i wanted to be a game dev lol)

Open the Eero app on your device.

Go to “Security and Privacy.”

Then go to “Network Controls.”

Disable Adblocking and Advanced Security.

Try logging in to Fragpunk again and see if it works.
