Yes, they do. When Chum dies, Chomper still goes after the first enemy he sees and explodes.

You need to understand how Broker bomb clusters work. Once an enemy enters the bomb’s radius, the trap is triggered but takes a brief moment before detonating. When it explodes, it deals damage. However, if the enemy sprints through quickly, they can trigger the trap without taking damage.

No, at this moment, Fragpunk doesn't use raw input. Though there are some settings on Windows or on your mouse that will help your aim precision. Such as making your pointer speed on notch 6 giving it a 1:1 ratio on physical and mouse movement. Turning off any "enhancements" and any smoothing or acceleration settings turned off.

Yeah, I had to look up what the cause and troubleshooting steps were. Since we did sfc and found no faults, you can try another launcher or chkdsk or DISM to see if there is something within the download that is causing the game to not install correctly.

Yeah, I just had a sneaking suspicion. Best to use the scans just in case, and for good measure, I would add a memtest, just in case the game’s data set isn’t getting stuck in the RAM.

Oh, here’s how to do that.

1. Click on start, then in the search bar, type in memtest. It should be a Microsoft program built into the system, not an app that you have to download.
2. Click on that program, then in the next window, it asks you to restart your computer. Close any active programs, then click Yes.
3. The computer will restart, and it takes a while, as it will scan every stick of RAM on your computer.
4. The computer will automatically restart, and you can view the scan results in its test through the C drive.

I think it's probably the anti-cheat that stops running from the game, so it's related to neac protect, should have like a layer that if neac protect isn't running, we stop any communication from the game.

Hi, anyone having performance issues since few patches ? One day I can have constant 240fps no matter what happens and another day (like today) my fps can drop to 150 even in range and just by shooting

Well, hey there big guy! I'm a bit of a tech nerd (not a fragpunk nerd but my point stands. )

Last time I've seen a problem like this, it was in the files. Try popping onto your launcher (probably steam) and verify your files.

Be sure to also make sure your computer and graphics drivers are up to date.

One more small little happy trick I use to make sure it's not on my pc itself is:

1. Open command prompt in admin mode.

2. Type in: sfc /scannow

3. press enter

4. wait for it to finish

What that's going to do is scan your computers essential files and repair any corrupt or broken files it needs to run and function at it's best.

A tool i like to use is Razer Cortex. It will help clear up and optimize space/memory and performance on your computer FOR YOU. It's kinda nice really

Anti-aliasing is basically just a "for your pleasure" thing in my mind. Basically makes the edges of models less jagged.

Basically anti-aliasing = smoother edges

Upsampling is a processing technique. It's basically lowering your screens res then upscaling it.

I wouldn't worry too much about either unless you're having pretty hearty drops in fps or something but I personally keep anti on because ✨️smooth smooth curves✨️

Directx 12 is technically better on an objective standpoint BUT 11 is known to be more stable. Having performance issues? Wouldn't hurt to pop into 11 to see if it fixes it. One of those kinds of things

Traffics backed up"

Try running steam and the game in Administrator mode. It will give priority to resources and might help with routing for you

I've only crashed my game once iirc my friend and that was when I was missing 1 person in my lobby which I thought we added so I was in queue and I tried to cancel my queue, but the moment I tried to cancel it not only did the cancel didn't work but my game crashed as well. The only things on my mind are software related issues with the information I have my friend. Do double check if your drivers are up to date just in case, maybe you might have missed an update... Then again I'm not sure if your game has always crashed or started crashing just recently.

If you're referring to the in-game mic icon, it often appears muted by default. Just press your push-to-talk key, and you should be able to speak normally. The icon might look delayed, but that's just a visual glitch, your voice isn't actually delayed

Steam guard is on the steam application on your mobile phone, works the same as discord’s login using a QR code. Turning it on through the account settings on steam and then following the steps from there

5. Try to run the game in a compatibility mode. The AC may not load up, though, so please be careful with this one.
6. Run the Hardware And Device Troubleshooter.

I guess it is a connection problem, yes. this is as soon as I open the game and runs, when I log in and connect, it loads a few seconds and tells me that there was a problem connecting to the servers.

1 - Disable Exclusive Mode:

• Right-click the speaker icon and select "Sounds."

• Go to the "Playback" tab, choose your audio device, and click "Properties."

• Under the "Advanced" tab, uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."

• Click "Apply" and "OK".

2 - Run the Game as Administrator:

• Right-click the game's shortcut or executable file.

• Click on Properties and then navigate to compatibility

• Select "Run as administrator" and "Disable full Screen Optimization".

• Hit "Apply"

• Go to your Device manager

• click monitors and enable your Monitor or disable and re-enable.

• Restart your game if you are in a Competitive game all good you can reconnect after

• Go to your steam client

• Then go to properties selecting fragpunk on the steam client

• And click on installed files, verify the files and restart steam and the game

• Go to the Program Files folder on your hard disk, then search the Steam folder right after searching Steam Games Folder and get through steamapps > common > FragPunk.

• Finally run the game as an administrator

• Disable the Discord Overlay and also make sure the hardware acceleration is also disabled on discord.

To get there go to Settings > Game Overlay > and disable the overlay

For Hardware Acceleration Settings > Advanced > Hardware Acceleration

• Settings -> Audio page, toggle the option “Keep audio playing in the background”

• If you're on windows 10 try to change your DirectX version from 12 to 11

• Try to reset with ( "D" button) all of the audio settings in-game

That is not a necessary step to fix your problem my friend but you can edit the file location manually and scan for the game files in steam and set that new different location as default to install game files in that said location if I'm not mistaken

Since it is already on a cloud backup drive, it should have already pointed towards a physical copy of the game. Just use file explorer to locate it using the location here: #community-help message

Alright, you may have to uninstall, then reinstall, but point it to the C drive instead of the desktop.

So when you reinstall the game, on the first screenshot, it should be located on your C:/ drive. If not, click on the gear, then on top of the next page, click on the C:/ drive. If it is not there, click on Add Drive, then point it to C:/Program Files(x86)/ and create a folder titled Steam. Then, just download like normal.
