There’s a couple of things you can do.

1. Update any and all drivers and EUFI.
2. Restart your computer and validate your game files.
3. Check and scan for malware.
4. Try to run the game as an administrator, if you are able to.

It should be in Settings > Network > DNS in Windows. If it’s a random set of numbers for the DNS address, that’s provided by the ISP. If it’s something like OneDot or GoogleDNS, those numbers won’t be random.
Since the packets are either not going to your computer or not going into the server, my guess is that these data packets are being lost in transit.

Character nickname is your username. It's the one that has the hashtag identifier at the end. Login account would be whatever platform you're using. If it's Steam, you'll need the Steam ID located on your Account

the moment you die and start spectating you will have a brief kill cam as well as the total damage you have done to each and every opponent you faced and which one did the killing blow to you. That is about it though my friend. And it does not remain forever unfortunately, as you will then start to spectate your teammates after several seconds.

I seem to continue to have an issue in relation to high ping with route flapping and choke being the culprit (at least that’s what it shows in game)… This is the only game that it occurs in. Oh. There’s a download on Gigabyte’s website. Download the BIOS, then extract it to a flash drive or external hard drives. Route flapping is when a router or modem goes from active to inactive and back very rapidly. This happens due to a combination of lack up updates to the firmware of connection devices or when an ISP changes server hubs. Other than your normal internet connection device updates or using a third party DNS, there’s not much you can do.

I know this is going to sound like cope but I have about a 50/50 chance that I'm going to wiff the whole game

If all is well, I'll do well, but a lot of the time I find that in my death cams these scenarios:

People who peek and shoot me aren't visible on my end until after I die, as if the peek is happening a half second after they actually peek

Death cams show me have no reaction even when I move or shoot, sometimes this is a partial reaction, or a lack of bullets being fired

My hitmarkers don't actually appear in the end damage tally, so if I show I did 65 damage, the end tally will either show me doing significantly less or no damage whatsoever

I'm trying my best to figure out why fragpunk is panicking with the pings suddenly. I am playing other shooters where my ping is barely above 20 but for some reason fragpunk goes to 700 out of nowhere and keeps climbing, anyone know what's going on? The silencer is within a certain range, when you fire, you don’t show up on the minimap. You only show up within a small radius. The other weapons, once you fire, you show up on the minimap.

The ability silences your teammates footsteps, but not weapon fire, ability sound effects or character voice lines. There is an area of effect for that ability, but since beta, the indicators of that specific AOE was removed.

No, clean reboot. Here’s how to do it.

1. Right click on the Windows icon, then click on run. Type in “msconfig” without the quotes, then press enter. On the services tab, click on “Hide All Microsoft Services”, then select “Deselect All”, then hit “Apply.”
2. From there, go to the startup tab, then click on the startup program link in that window. Deselect all non-essential programs you don’t want to load on the next reboot, then click “Accept.”
3. A window should appear that says if you want to reboot your system. Press Okay. If it doesn’t, go ahead and restart your system anyways by left clicking on the Windows icon, click on the power button icon, then Restart.

i have 4 steam account. and got banned on all of them, and no i do not have any sort of aplication on my pc. i recentlly reset my windows. i only have like 5 games on my pc. the epic games launcher discord and obs studio. that's all i have.

OBS has been flagged by multiple anti-cheats such as easyanticheat e.g. fortnite instance (you can find a lot of info about this), VAC (valve's anti-cheat) and so on, try uninstalling OBS and then play fragpunk

Had that problem since release couldn't fix it at all, complained like an absolute fool just to notice that my cpu was thermal throttling which causes insane spikes in fps and performance which caused the game to stutter like crazy (literally unplayable), how I fixed it, I repasted my CPU with 'Arctic MX-4' (apparently this laptop model used liquid metal as a thermal paste which leaked and wasn't on my cpu anymore also thank god it didn't fry my motherboard) and everything went back to normal I can now say that I don't have any issues whatsoever and can run the game on ultra settings with an average of 160 to 200 stable fps with no fps drops whatsoever. Hope this helps!

also 'How to see if my cpu is thermal throttling' check the cpu temps in idle (like doing absolutely nothing e.g. having a few tabs open or listening to music) if it's in the 85-96 degrees it's thermal throttling which as I previously said, causes insane fps drops

I would say that it depends on your opinion and feeling, if you feel more confortable with the 1x then it's good, if you prefer it to be slower when you scope it's also good. Personally I've always played with the same sensitivity in both scope/no scope so it's smoother, but some of my friends prefers it to be slower so they can manage it better.

I just changed it to where my sens when aiming is slower then when not. I personally prefer it, sometimes I will over shoot or over correct my shot in certain situations, so it helps make my corrections that would normally make me miss those shots much smaller movements helping me stay on target.

Hmm...my guess is a peripheral or component is overvolted and to save the PSU, it shuts itself down to prevent it from self destruction. Best to use #game-support to contact the devs and figure out what part of the code is misbehaving.

maybe those "other" games are not as demanding as fragpunk, usually any game these days built in UE5 can cause crashes/blue screens, and yeah I do think it's from your PSU, no game can "shutdown" your PC unless it's malware

have you also maybe checked temps? maybe your cpu/gpu is/are hitting the 100 degree mark which causes a complete shutdown

RAM is determined by how much capacity (in your case, it’s 16GB) and how fast data transfers between the drive and the RAM and CPU. For instance, my computer has 64GB of RAM that runs on 5000mhtz. With laptops, you can double check the speed by using Task Manager or through your BIOS.

Hello all and devs. Hope everyone is having a good morning. I play with controller to move and mouse to aim no aa. Emulated Wasd to my controller and it doesn't work with steam overlay. Will this be fixed. It's how I have played all my shooters since coming from console. I don't use any macros. I basically spoof my controller into a keyboard. It won't work. It works with many other games. Love the game so much already and only played 4 games. Mouse input is awesome

I don’t know if the included app is not emulating MNK controls properly in FragPunk, but I don’t see a reason why it shouldn’t. I also noticed that it’s a close emulator to an Xbox One controller that does have a macro, but again, I don’t know if that specific macro is supported in the game or not. The AC won’t flag it, though, but I would suggest to contact either Gamsir (their web chat is great, by the way!) or #game-support for that.
