Anyone that is looking to use Calamity, best way I've had success:

Use Audio to know when to proc your Q. Upon proc'ing Q, immediately shoulder-peek/swing and place your E on the enemy, then run away before invincibility ends. If successful, you now have your Bloodbane full and can no take advantage of your passive -> increased dmg, movespeed and lifesteal. When low, use E to heal.
