there's a limited time mode that cycles in that lets you choose any lancer, wait for that mode to get active and try out all of the lancers, determine which ones you like the most and unlock those two

over time you get gold which lets you unlock lancers for 18888 as well, so it's not like you only ever get to unlock 2 more unless you pay

You should get a average of 10k exp each game so in about 20 you get cap

I say this system is way better then before where you was getting like 250 exp each game but it was not capped and there's was dailies challenges and weekly
