the reason people don't use slice and dice in the opener is that they use deathly shadows pre pull

to look into your rotation, the opener should be strike-snd-dance-....
Unsure why you did start to attack the boss 10 secs in the fight, but that shouldn't be the case

with PV you don't start to dance with high PV stacks

for venthyr you basically align 2 charges with flag and 1 charge each symbols
the rest of the time you just use it to not cap on dance charges

this is even worse

flagellation is your mainline cooldown

this is why you want to use flag-finish-cooldowns

if you dance + symbols and flag way after you lose a lof of its efficiency

the main aim for flagellation is to get high stacks

shadow dance generates more combo points what means also easier stack generation

so focusing on playing flag correct is important for damage and also cdr

#

the rest of the logs is basically repeat of the same problems

so basically, when you play venthyr you need to:

  • use symbols on cd and align dance to it
  • play flag correct: flag-finish-cooldowns (symbols use can be delayed for that)
  • use usually 2 dance charges with flag, else 1 charge per symbols or if about to cap
  • consume PV stacks between dances if on high charges
  • start dance with low combo points and don't refresh rupture during dance
