#Larill Log Review

Okay, it’s made, but I can’t hardcore look like I need to
Hoping one of the other sin boys help
no worries, thanks for the thread
Okay when I say in depth, I legit don’t have time to look at cast sequencing today.
But a few very basic things to improve:
looking at mythic skolex
You missed a vanish completely, this is obviously not as bad anymore, but still something to maximize for bigger dam.
Your rupture also has a fairly low uptime (this could be from some raider lagging behind while you patiently wait for stacking) at 94%
Having to cast SND again is an oof, ngl.
And you missed some MFDs
It also looks as though a shiv or two could have been used, but again, this could be completely explained by “I’m waiting in the stack, and someone is lagging behind” multiple times
im not sure how much it changes your dmg, but the typical opener is garrote, flag, rupture, mfd,CT,VD,shiv but you did rupture VD mfd CT Shive
yeah I'm struggling keeping dots rolling during movement with the reduced pandemic during vendetta I didn't realize I had so much rupture downtime though, I'll take a look at some other logs and compare the casts. I'm not sure where the lack of shiv casts are coming from as I'm normally holding every other shiv for lining with flag/vend it could be stacking like you say I'll see where my positioning is during the points where shiv would be coming of cd.
What do you mean by VD sorry?
Vendetta I assume
ah
It’s minimal difference if any
As for the shiv, specifically on that boss, I could see the stacking mechanic kinda borking you
You didn’t just miss a cast on any specific interval, but added up it equaled a miss
Mfd you did though, unfortunately
And balancing plates during vendetta is hard, definitely takes some practice
Be careful about the blue pools that spawn around the boss - it looks like they hit you twice and you had the 33% haste debuff for 12% of the fight
Aside from the missed mfd is this looking more like a tightening up on gameplay issue? I definitely feel like I need to practice the vendetta window more
yep definitely, I believe both of those were from other melee moving early though so I imagine that'll improve as the raid team get more practice on the boss
Yeah
Feel free to just send cloak to get the debuff off right away if you get hit 🙂
Thanks for your help, just wanted to make sure there were no glaring issues.
There could be some sequencing but none that I really saw on the first minute or so
(I went against what I said I’d do)
Yeah I think I cloaked one a bit earlier, the melee clump seems to go into full panic after the first stack
I appreciate it, thanks again I'll let you get back to your work 🙂
If you are trying to optimize, try to get into the habit of casting Flag -> Finisher -> MFD -> Finisher -> Vendetta + Shiv instead of casting Flag + Vendetta right away together, so you get the haste "snapshotting" thing
You'll see all top logs doing that
quick question on priorities, if I've got snapshotted bleeds running on my target and need to move away at which point the bleeds will fall off for say 2 seconds is it better to refresh those bleeds ahead of moving overwriting the snapshotted bleeds or take the 2 seconds without bleeds running?
maybe I'm misunderstanding the snapshotting completely, I was under the impression I was already doing it
I see what you mean, I'm taking less advantage of higher stacks of flag by slamming vendetta early
So that’s the overhang
Snapshotting involves stats
So if you’re flag haste is going away in 1 second but your bleed has 6 seconds left; it still keeps the haste from flag until it expires; even though it’s gone for 5 of those seconds
It “snapshots” your stats every time you bleed
yeah so my question is which is more important, letting the snapshot bleeds run for their full duration or refreshing them if I'm going to have even 2 seconds of downtime on them due to moving away?
Probably the latter
